Extreme pain
During a surgical procedure that was supposed to be 'you will not feel a thing' turned into the most extreme pain that my husband ever felt. No one cared at all or even stopped to see if they could mitigate pain. No communication after or response to address anything after either. Afraid it was done wrong which will effect entire cancer treatment moving forward. Hope he got all his money

Run as fast as you can
Could not care a less about my daughter and the stent he inserted.. took 3 weeks to get followup, because no care plan was given on discharge 5 days in hospital and saw him once then he went out of the country.. fast forward almost 4 weeks, another procedure to take out reinsert, less than 24 hrs later sepsis and high fever, another er visit, but dr could not be bothered. Office staff even worse....

No treatment for old people
I’m 85 and in very good health, mostly. I have been diagnosed with small prostate cancer and yet Dr Sulek refuses to do any surgery although my cardiologist says he would okay any surgery. Ended up in ER with swollen prostate as I could not urinate. Came home with catheter. Dr Sulek said he could do a laser treatment to open it up. Now he won’t even answer call to schedule it. He is not a Dr for older men. Nor live up to his promise to help. His philosophy is to watch and wait and let the cancer finish taking me out. I’m willing, and perfectly able, to take any risk perceived but he still refuses to help.

I came here to make very important statement for those patients who are complaining about waiting period and writing negative feedbacks... Put yourself in surgeon's shoes for the moment and pretend: Why is he late? Maybe heavy bleeding or rare or some other complications are happening during the procedure or operation before your appointment? God help you not to be that patient in the operating theater when surgeon is thinking not about You but not to be late on appointment with someone else at the office! Don't worry, we surgeons don't do that.! Jay is my younger colleague. Have had an opportunity to see what he is capable to do and I'm very proud to see lots of positive reviews from thankful patients.

Dr Sulek showed up during my kidney stone visit to the ER. He really saved the day for me. If I need another urologist visit in the future, he'll get a call. Big fan, thanks!

Dr. Sulek performed my robotic prostatectomy. I was undecided for months between all of the options. I considered proton, seeds and HIFU but ultimately I am relieved to just have the prostate out. I was really worried about complications but Dr. Sulek talked me through the expectations and got me to physical therapy and the help I needed to recover. I'm 6 months out and am pretty close to back to normal and am just really relieved. I am so grateful that I was referred to Dr.Sulek by my pcp, I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to operate on me now that I've gone through the whole process. He is truly great.

I am so very grateful for the excellent care my husband received from Dr. Sulek. He was extremely kind and answered all of our questions thoroughly, spending a long time with us to make certain we understood the procedure. Although I am sure he is very busy, he focused on our concerns. I would recommend Dr. Sulek to anyone needing a fine urologist.

I would 10/10 recommend Dr. Sulek. He is warm, genuine and during my office appointments spent time explaining everything to me in lay mans terms. I had surgery with him and am very pleased with my results. His follow up care was also excellent. Just a genuine doc that cares a lot through and through which is hard to come across these days. Not your average surgeon.

Dr. Sulek was called in for an emergency kidney procedure on me at 11:30 p.m. one Saturday night through Stone Crest Hospital Emergency Room. He was excellent. Put me at ease because I only have one kidney. Two weeks later I had another scheduled procedure with him at Tri-Star in Hermitage. Once again, he was excellent. He is knowledgable, compassionate and willing to answer all my questions.

After waiting several hours for a consult, we spoke for 5-7 minutes partially about how poor quality the images were that he was reading for me. The following day from 12:00am- the time he was coming in for my consult that morning I was put on a no food or water diet. None of the nurses or staff were able to get in touch with him to verify where he was or why he had not shown for the consult. Needless to say my already fragile health state was not being aided by his leisurely work pace, and my pain and headaches only worsened without the nourishment my body needed.

Dr. Sulek has treated me for a renal tumor and he treated my father for his prostate cancer. Dr. Sulek and his staff were very knowledgable and accomodating. I have recommended Dr. Sulek to several friends and family members and would certainly go to him for any urology issues in the future
