Dr Mamel should retire, I’ve seen him several times but all he seems to do is stare at his computer screen and mumble. I had to se a different Gastro dr to get his notes and give me a referral to a surgeon. He should not be putting patients lives at risk due to his old age and inability to communicate well.

He really should retire. Impossible to get a hold of. Very poor bedside manner. Office staff can't understand why I am mad after I have to call 3 times to speak to someone.

Dr. Memel was very knowledgeable, informative, kind and courteous. I was very pleased with his procedure and how kind his staff were. I highly recommend him.

I would not recommend Dr. Mamel. I was hospitalized for 10 days with gastrointestinal issues and sepsis. I saw him one time and only after my family asked nurse that he discuss procedure and test results. He was so annoyed to have to actually talk to us. He was rude, curt, and very unprofessional. I was very I'll and should be treated better than he did.

I have been seeing Dr. Mamel for years and can recommend him and his team to anyone suffering from Gastrointestinal issues in the Tampa Bay area. Not only is he highly knowledgable but he has a clam, mild mannered demeanor that is perfect for dealing with anxious patients such as myself. Thank you Dr. Mamel for your ongoing support and continually making me feel better about my situation.

Not at all happy with interaction. Long interview with intern, but Doctor basically walked in and handed a bunch of prescriptions. Not a kind, patient personality. Definitely, wouldn't recommend.
