Dr Mabrey performed hip surgery on me and damaged my labrum, leaving me with extreme pain and instability in my hip. My physical therapist knew something was wrong and sent me back to Dr Mabrey, who blew me off, telling me to see a psychiatrist. I ended up having to have a second surgery to fix my original problem and repair the damage done by Dr Mabrey.

This doctor put 2 pieces that did not fit one into the other properly, this resulted in a slow wear of the pieces, which became loose and eventually the hip prosthesis disassembled completely one day as I was about to get up from a chair. The surgeon that repaired this last problem said, it wasn't difficult to tell those two type of pieces, called tapers don't fit together. I saw him 1 month before due to an episode of severe pain, he did not even touch my leg, did not examine me at all.
