Caused more pain and damage than I could have ever imagined. Left knee surgery, sent me home with medication he knew I couldn't take, after 5 days with no sleep and in excruciating pain I had a heart attack and surgery, knee continued to pop and caused me to fall, I kept telling him this, falling caused me to injure my right knee and required surgery, injured my left shoulder and hand. 1st heart attack has caused a 2nd requiring 2 stints. When he released me he put me in a brace stating he couldn't do anything else for me. Worst experience with a surgeon I've ever had. I could have died due to his incompetence.

Fixed me
I was having weakness in my legs and had back surgery. It didn't fix the weakness in my legs which turned out to be bursitis. Dr lorton removed my bursa split my iliotibial band so it doesn't rub anymore. The surgery was a breeze as well as the recovery. I look forward to having my left bursa repaired as well

I saw Dr. Lorton for pain in my hip, for which he recommended surgery. He did not listen to my concerns about the burning pain down my leg, and when I asked about Piriformis Syndrome, he remarked "I don't do backs, I only do hips." Well, my hip pain ended up being shingles, which later showed up on my right buttock and runs down my sciatic nerve. I think he saw a 60-year-old, overweight woman, and decided that was all he could do for me. If hip surgery is ever necessary, it won't be Dr. Lorton.

I had a major hip issue going on from running steeple chase in college and was misdiagnosed for years by the medical team for our university. I finally went to Dr. Lorton to get another opinion and long story short, I had FAI Hip surgery with Dr. Lorton as my surgeon. This was one of the best decisions of my life as I achieved full recovery and got my life back. I was back to running 15 miles within 7-8 months of surgery! Thanks Dr. Lorton.
