Go elsewhere
Dr. Ghadiali was helpful dealing with an issue that another specialist diagnosed me with that required the care of a rheumatologist. However, when I spoke to Dr. Ghadiali about another issue, he told me over the phone that I 'might have to live with it' without seeing me or diagnosing what 'it' is. I just returned from a visiting a vascular surgeon for the same issue who told me I should see a rheumatologist to rule out an autoimmune disease. When I told the vascular doctor my experience with Dr. Ghadiali, they referred me elsewhere.

Doesn’t seem to care
My first appointment I left feeling unheard and like he blew me off. He didn’t seem to care much about my issues. When I mentioned that I’ve lost so much strength and have been so tired his response was “well I think you just need to push through the fatigue and exercise.” He did order blood work and set up another apt 6 weeks later. My bloodwork showed my ana was borderline positive (previously it was negative) and my c3 was high but according to him my bloodwork didn’t show anything remarkable and that I don’t have anything that falls under rheumatology. It was a 2 minute appointment (if that) and he sent me on my way with “we’re here if you need us.” What a waste of a $50 copay and pto time. Maybe he would be decent if you actually have a diagnosis prior to going here but otherwise he just can’t be bothered to figure out what is wrong with you. Save yourself time and money and go elsewhere.

Rheumatology
Dr. Ghadiali was not helpful and is not a good communicator. The office visit to assess unexplained symptoms that may or may not be immune related was unpleasant and frustrating. He did not order any bloodwork or suggest any specific next step. I would not recommend other patients see him unless they have an established diagnosis and are undergoing routine follow-up - instead recommend seeing a rheumatologist with more clinical experience.

He listens and actually treats Scleroderma
He was the first rheumatologist I have seen in years that actually listened to me, answered my questions, and offered me treatment options. He is young, but seems to know a lot about this disease, as I have severe complications. He has a very caring manner, did not disappoint, me unlike the last Lankenau doctor I saw who did absolutely nothing for me.
