Had a issue with right knee that had a major reconstruction in 1991. Yes 30 years of high active service. Doc. Explained the issues very well. Then we discussed the options and the pros and cons of each. He then urged me to go home and think these options over. I did and option a was the winner. Doc Gannaway and his entire staff have been awesome, polite, professional and kept my long term health conditions and quality of life in mind. I believe the procedure recommended had done me good. I no longer have the the 10,000 burning needles feeling going on nor the acute sharp pains. The extreme stiffness is gone and knee moves a lot more freely My experience has been one that I would definitely recommend anyone to Dr.Gannaway

Several co-workers insisted Dr Gannaway was the physician I should see for my shoulder. Yes, he is matter of fact & leans on the blunt side, but why would you want a mealy-mouth doctor that you have to pull information out of or he/she simply fails to tell you what you should know to forward with resolution of your problem? I liked the fact that Dr G was straight forward. He examined my shoulder, reviewed my xrays & mri and after physical therapy, it was decided surgery was the next step. Ppointment was made, pre-registration taken care of. Met with Dr G and anesthesiologist then rolled in to surgery. Discharged a few hours later and home bound. Follow up visit was good. I would go see him again and would highly recommend him over & over again.

He did my hip surgery and was extremely arrogant and full of himself. If there is a problem forget him having any compassion. I fell after my hip surgery something was terribly wrong and very painful. Went into ask him for a mri to find out whats wrong. He insulted me, ignored that it was my hip joint and insisted it was my back and kicked me out of his office. . 8 months later in severe pain went to my md ask for a mri. It shows I have a complex torn labrum. Im devestated at his treatment of me

Dr. Gannaway performed my partial menisectomy on my knee yesterday. His bedside manner is kind, caring and thoughtful. He listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions patiently and respectfully. The surgery was flawless and post-op pain and incision sites were minimal. I highly recommend him!!

He was rude and told me if I did not lose some weight he was not going to do my surgery. The told me that he had lost 60 lbs and that I was not trying to lose weight. Told me when I was serious about having my knee replaced to call him. Offered nothing until I lose some weight. And how easy it would be for me to use a weight loss app on my phone.
