Highly recommended.
I cannot recommend Dr. Javad Riaz enough! He is not only highly professional but also genuinely compassionate and attentive to his patients' needs. Dr. Riaz is not only a skilled professional but also very knowledgeable. My husband suffers from Schizophrenia. From the very first session, I felt truly heard and supported. He provided clear explanations and took the time to address our concerns. We felt comfortable asking questions and discussing our concerns. He explains everything thoroughly and ensures you’re comfortable every step of the way. An Excellent human being. Thank you!Sincerely Mobeen &Aysha Shaikh

Dangerously incompetent
Involuntarily detained due to suicide attempt from cluster headache (suicide headache). It's common, 10% of sufferers attempt. Admitted Monday and lucid by Wednesday. Dr. Riaz didn't check my medical history even though he had access, showing multiple food and drug allergies. Involuntary detention past recovery was dangerous. Was exposed to allergens (including peanuts) and starved due to no adequate food options, had family working on release for my safety. He wouldn't release me till I 'took my medication,' lithium, despite having one kidney. Spoke to me all of 180 seconds and didn't let me explain the danger or lack of mental health history. This was severe negligent mistreatment of cluster headaches. I suffered injury because of his incompetence and callous disregard for my safety. Lost 6 pounds while unnecessarily detained because I wouldn't take a clearly unnecessary, contraindicated medication. All he had to do was read my medical record or listen to me to get my history.
