I would never recommend Dr. Babbar to anyone. I was required to see Dr. Babbar for several months as part of a UPMC program I was attending. I always dreaded seeing him because he was not compassionate. I begged him on more than one occasion to switch medication and he told me I was not being patient enough and I needed to just give it time. Then he would increase my dose after it had been "long enough". The medication genuinely put my life at risk and he would not listen to me, the patient, when I asked to try something else. I was the one taking the medication, so why were my feelings not acknowledged or considered? After leaving his care I found another psychiatrist who actually LISTENED TO ME and switched my medication. My mood improved very quickly and I no longer need any medication. Turns out I had been misdiagnosed as bipolar - my correct diagnosis is ADHD/anxiety. Dr. Babbar overmedicated me for a mental illness I did not have. I will never forget being treated so poorly.

This guy is a complete joke. Told me to go to the emergency room after calling and would not give advice. Needs to go back to his school In India, as it says in his references and learn some manners. Makes my stomach turn just thinking about him.
