Worst bedside manner to an orthopedic professional
I made the mistake of seeing Dr “Frankweinstein” for a reoccurring Rt. Rotator cuff injury. Upon introduction (47 min late and on apology) No eye contact mumbling his name and asking what brings me in? I stated my name and my extensive orthopedic surgery history and background. Reducing fractures, casting., bracing and thousands of miles of casting and tape. It went through one ear out the other. He looked at my X-ray MRI and explained you tear this area. I said “ yes anterior labium which I have torn before.” With was evident from a previous anchor. A surgery date was set. My post op pain was off the wall with grinding and popping usually signs of the surgeon NOT PROPERLY irrigating the joint out and visual checking the joint out. I personally have assisted with hundreds of both shoulder and knee scopes. That’s as important as the case. At my post op of which he was almost five ours behind. I asked the desk is he in surgery or the ER. Two weeks later in had a new competent Dr. new sur

Given some uncertainties regarding my current health scenario, I was seeking compassion, care, and hope. Dr. Weinstein and staff provided that and more. I am grateful for their expertise and care. I have received much the same from other colleagues in the practice also from Dr. Weinstein and his staff. What an excellent group of experts!

He never returns a phone call...even the office manager said she'd have someone contact me. That hasn't happened either. Its been weeks and I should have to call every week to ask that someone call me with test results or plan of medical care.

Total hip replacement 2 months ago was a success. The operated leg does seem to be a bit shorter than the other one, but maybe that will resolve later.

Dr. Weisstein replaced both of my hips in June and July of 2020 and I am very happy with the results of his great work. I had an appointment with him on 4/13/21 to discuss an upcoming partial right knee re-surfacing in which he explained the procedure and answered all of my questions about the surgery. He's a very straightforward mater of fact guy much to my liking.

Dr Weisstein was very thorough and took a lot of time to explain and educate me about my condition, surgery, rehab, recovery and options. It was important to him to learn about me as a person rather than just relying on X-rays to determine what is best for me. I would highly recommend him to family and friends, and feel very confident in his expertise!
