Dr. Jason Sloan, DO

Very caring, but also doesn’t skip over even small details.

I have had an awful experience with this Dr Sloan and his office. He has ignored my emails, will not speak to me directly and is currently refusing me service simply because he doesn't feel comfortable. He has caused me a large amount of stress by being very unprofessional. I have done everything asked of me to no avail. He hasn't contacted me to assist me with finding another Dr, hasn't properly advised me of my conditions, hasn't given a valid reason for his denial of services, hasn't helped me at all. The office manager here doesn't help. She was informed of all this, stated she would follow up with the Dr and his staff and did none of that. I now have to start over in the middle of a health crisis Covid-19. Finding a Dr who can assist me promptly has been a challenge. I have googled and called almost all local Ob/Gyns! How is this okay? I wouldn't recommend any Dr at this facility because all of them have refused to provide care. I was a patient of Dr Kramers as well. I would give

After moving to KC, I made an appointment with this doctor to continue care after being with a previous gynecologist for more than 10 years. After almost a 2-month wait to be seen, he initially agreed to continue me on the same pain medication that I have been taking since 2010 for endometriosis and other chronic health problems, which I have been taking with no issues for more than a decade, and which my last doctor happily provided. When I needed to refill this prescription, Dr. Sloan went back on his commitment to treat me and denied me this medication I desperately need for pain management. I do not appreciate being lied to by anyone, especially not my doctor who is supposed to be taking care of me. I have wasted precious time waiting to be seen by a provider to continue by care and treatment only to be told that sorry, "we don't do that here." Now I have to find a new doctor amidst this coronavirus outbreak, which could take several more weeks or months to get in.

Dr. Sloan is amazing! He always took the time to talk with me, listening to my questions and concerns and responding with empathy and respect. His decision making is backed by years of training and experience as well as up-to-date research, which reassured me that myself and my unborn baby were receiving the best care possible. He made my first birth experience go very smoothly and I now have a happy, healthy, 6-month old! I can't recommend Dr. Sloan highly enough.

Dr. Sloan delivered my first child, the care he and his staff offered was kind, caring, and personal. I absolutely loved his nurses!
