Dr. Siefferman is a very special Dr.
Dr. Siefferman saved me. I was consumed with nerve pain from the middle of my back to my toes, with CRPS in one leg below my knee. On a scale of 1-10, it was a 15. This was a result of a Lipoma inside my Spinal Cord which surgery first left me paralyzed, I still can't feel below my calves. I have yet to meet another human who has ever heard of my problem. Between various injections, drugs and a Spinal Cord Stimulator, most of the pain has been eliminated. I have been to 22 Drs so far at some pretty fancy NYC hospitals. Not one has come close to understanding and addressing my situation. He is an icredible Dr!

Thanking my lucky stars I met Dr. Siefferman
Wow! Finally a brilliant doctor who is willing to take the time to listen, find out all the necessary information, look at the images, ask the right questions, be hands-on, question past diagnoses, think outside the box, and willing to change course based on your responses to treatment - his iterative approach is incredible. Not too many doctors are willing to look through your past medical records and history and approach it with a fresh start. He also has so many tools at his disposal, he is able to tailor his approach based on what works for you. After so many years of symptoms and problems, the doctor was able to pull it all together and recommend a new treatment I had never been offered before. Can't recommend Dr. Siefferman enough! Thank you for your outstanding treatment.

He’s ok and smart and communicative, but ended up giving me 10,000 shots I didn’t need. His staff is incompetent, Francis was bad. Omer may be worse. My shoulder is better now but everyone stay away!

Bully
I feel like doctor s is a bully - plain and simple. I know he erases my review on other sites and I am not surprised. He pushes procedures and pills and doesn’t let the patient get a word in - he has to always be right. His team often gets drugs mixed up and refills are hard and he sometimes says he will refill and sometimes withholds - it feels like a game. I feel like he coerces all these reviews bec he sees many of his friends as patients.

Dr Siefferman is an egotist. He thinks he knows everything about everything. If you don’t agree with his view and take all the 10’s of meds he prescribes and also do all the procedures he think you’re. It compliant and won’t help. His team often doesn’t talk to one another.

Telehealth
I’d recommend a doctor who is more empathic and a team that works together more. They often work outside their discipline and make my other doctors wonder what they are prescribing. Opioids instead of getting ppl off them. That’s my impression. Lots of random needles.

I have pelvic pain and endometriosis, and have been to countless medical providers over the last decade. I hear the same things over and over, and end up in dead ends. Oftentimes a doctor will try to prescribe me a certain medication that I do not want to try due to the possible side effects impacting my life, and they will lose all patience with me. I end up in yet another dead end. This does not feel like the case with Dr. Siefferman. He is a thorough listener and knowledgable about my condition. He came up with several approaches and plans to help me. He did not downplay my pain or concerns, or do mental gymnastics around "if this, then why that" which so many doctors do -- e.g. "if you take this medication already, why would you be afraid to take that medication?" or "if you're in this much pain, then why wouldn't you be willing to sacrifice everything else in your life to try to fix it?" I left his office feeling hopeful, supported and understood.

I have pain from multiple problems including and Autoimmune disease and I’m difficult to treat. Other doctors would have given up on me but Dr. Siefferman is very patient and always tries to figure out something new to attempt. I’m very grateful to the doctor who recommended me to him because they don’t think I would have found him on my own. There are so many Pain Doctors in NY but Dr. Siefferman really works with me to keep my pain under control.
