I went to him because my bloodwork at urgent care came back so bad that they told me to go to the ER to get checked out. I was a little surprised for sure but I went anyway. He basically told me I should not have come to the ER even though another doctor literally told me to go. In the end I was glad I went because I got a powerful steroid and they took a look at my spleen which was very enlarged. Dr.Rozeski however was rude, and just not pleasant to be around.

disappointing care given the data at hand
Disappointing; I did not trust his decisions given the data at hand. I presented to the ED with chest pain upon waking in the middle of the night following an acute highly emotional situation the same day. An EKG came back abnormal; all the while however the doc and team focused more on questioning me about domestic abuse. I assured them that was not the case and to focus on my heart considering I have had heart issues with my lyme diagnosis. I felt judged for being fit and female and thereby the team didn't run appropriate tests in my opinion given the LAD - LAFB findings.

Very helpful and concise
I’m surprised to see so many negative reviews. Dr. Rozeski was very helpful and attentive with me when I came in with severe lower back pain. He couldn’t have been nicer and was very professional.

ER visit to treat severe pain: As many others have similarly said here, right from the start his manner was mainly unsympathetic and brusque. Even almost approaching combative. He seemed much, much more concerned about following policy on what he could (not) do with strong pain killers than really listening to this specific patient and sympathetically explaining what was (not) possible and why. Please know, a brand new patient does not deserve to have the pain killer ills of society unilaterally prejudice their doctor's thinking. A much more personal, custom approach is needed. Ultimately, how he chose to end the consultation is telling. He just suddenly got up, then walked out the door, basically saying as he walked away "I'll see If I one get one of the nursers to give you and injection...." Not exactly a thoughtful, clear and sympathetically delivered decision on what will happen next. So much for being wished good luck too. Yes, the worst medical experience of my life!

The Emergency Department is the only place Dr. Rozeski could last, as patients have to take who they get. He barely and condescendingly answered my questions and acted like they were an interruption to his banter with staff. Worse, he gave me terrible advice....he told me not to wear a brace as my x-ray showed no breaks. Weeks later a hand specialist told me that I SHOULD have worn one, so now I am in one 24/7 and my recovery was delayed 4 weeks due to his poor advice.

I honestly don't understand why people like Dr. Rozeski become physicians. He gave me the worst news and left the room in 2 seconds after barely explaining anything. don't they teach people before they become doctors that hospitals are usually not pleasant places for patients and it really freaks them out when physicians offer no compassion whatsoever? He is just so condescending and dry, the last things you would want an Emergency doc to be.

He indicated I must provide more information, but speak in sentences containing 3 words or less. He was taped stating longer sentences like "I'm feeling really anxious..." are "socially inappropriate" and grounds to deny care for a verified medical emergency. He became very verbally abusive and other staff apologized for his behavior. He is proven to falsify records and is under investigation by several regulatory boards.
