Dr. Jason Ramsey, MD

Dr. Ramsey clearly explained options for my shoulder. Rather than going immediately to surgery, he recommended getting my nutritional situation improved through a pending scope procedure in order to maximize healing for the shoulder surgery. I so appreciated his approach to my case by working toward the best possible outcome for me. This is my plan going forward and will be seeing Dr. Ramsey in a month so we can move to the next step. Also, Bertrand did shoulder injection and he did a great job! He helped me relax with his clear explanation, and he explained what we were seeing on the ultrasound as he completed the procedure. Then, it was over. Rodney, a medical student, was also very pleasant as he gathered initial information about my situation. Thank you, Dr. Ramsey.

First, I was able to schedule an appt much sooner than I expected. The staff was efficient, courteous, and professional. Dr Ramsey took the time to explain the problem with my shoulder and limitations I will face in recovery. I appreciate his honesty so much. He explained the steps we recommended going forward. I am confident I will receive good care here.

I appreciate the honesty and integrity of the man that examined me. He did not try to force me to make a decision then. He explained and showed me on the X-ray. It was not what I had hoped for. Be he explained what I could expect in the future.

My athletic, 14 year old son hurt his knee skiing over the holiday weekend. Dr. Ramsey had us in his office first thing the next morning and assessed his injury. He plays year round travel baseball and HS football. After evaluating, Dr. Ramsey did not feel surgery was necessary, but assisted with a brace and PT. I was highly impressed with the professionalism of the staff. They were knowledgeable and friendly and helpful with all my questions. Highly recommend Dr. Ramsey and his staff!

Had serious chronic pain in left shoulder since the 90s; three prior surgeries by other doctors did not help. Dr. Ramsey did a complete reverse shoulder replacement and I am out of pain (finally). I had right shoulder surgery June 2019. Dr Ramsey performed the reverse socket replacement. I did my therapy and this year I was released with good results of being able to move my shoulder without pain. Dr Ramsey is an excellent doctor that cares about his patients. I felt very little pain and glad that I had the surgery. Dr Ramsey is at the North Star Orthopedic Surgery Professional Center along with other well qualified surgeons, of which I am a patient of three others. I would like to recommend Dr. Ramsey if you need shoulder surgery. I would not hesitate for him to do surgery on me. Very personable and not bad looking for a lady of 78.

I got ACL and meniscus repair surgery from Dr. Ramsey. He felt confident in making the diagnosis clinically I didn't even need an MRI. He's a nice guy and answered all questions I had. The surgery went well, it was easy to communicate with his staff when I called with questions, and recovery has gone well so far about 8 months out. My quality of life is already improved, just working on the last bit of regaining 100% strength back, but already feeling significantly stronger and more stable than pre surgery.

Dr Jason Ramsey first operated on my left shoulder rotator in 2018 and then on my right shoulder rotator in 2019. Both are now doing great. I had postponed both for quite sometime not wanting surgery but both had affected my sleep. I can sleep on both sides now for the first time in 15 years. He and his staff treat you as if you are family. They a very professional, caring people that I would highly recommend to anyone.
