terrible. mocks and patronizes his patients. Office staff is worse, but I have no qualms abut assigning that blame on him as well.

Dr. Orien was kind enough to get me in last minute due to me being in the ER. I appreciate he attempted to help me with the 6.5 mm stone I was suffering from. After surgery no discussion about how it went or any follow up with my wife that was waiting relatively close outside of the operating room. I was moved to my room and was under the impression that all went well. Unfortunately it did not and I was going to have another procedure the following morning. My nurse, myself or my wife were never told about it until I was being moved from my room the next morning. To this day almost 7 months, 2 additional hospital admissions, 3 additional procedures and countless problems with no returns of phone calls, only being scheduled to see assistants, told that the nephrostomy tube placed in March will be okay for an additional 2 months, it's August and just being discharged for kidney infection and having calcified stent still no call from Doctor. Only lectured by assistants like it's my fault

My late husband and I had a very bad experience with this doctor. He has zero compassion, empathy or social skills. I can still hear my late husband’s screams at the hands of this man who never even acknowledged him or his pain, or me for that matter. They say he is “good at what he does”. However I do not believe you can be a good doctor if you cannot feel or have empathy for your patients. I could not possibly recommend him to anyone.

Went to summerlin hospital after waiting a month to get this kidney stone out and waited in the back with an IV in my arm for more than 4 hours now and I’m still waiting!!! No food or drinks since 5:30am and he is still in a more complicated surgery!! How about doing the easy fast surgeries first and then do the long ones! Really??? Still waiting 4 1/2 hours no dr

What a great experience. Dr. Orien is a friendly, wonderful doctor who's practical manner is superior and his bedside manner matches. From start to finish his staff was professional, friendly, and just pleasant to be around. I received top notch treatment, my financial obligations were clearly explained to me, along with the procedure and the do's and don'ts. I went home feeling confident I had received the best medical care available. Thanks Dr. Orien for taking great care of me. And he's hilarious.

Dr. Orien handled my procedure extremely well. I felt well-educated going into the appointment, and he did very well explaining the procedure step by step (he picked up pretty quickly that good, understandable explanations were the key to helping me feel at ease). He managed to find the right balance between warmth and no-nonsense that really helped things go well. Dr. Orien was on ER Urology call when my husband went to our primary care for flank pain. Dr, Orien responded quickly to my husband's condition. His knowledge and skill saved his kidneys. Dr. Orien was kind, professional and treated us with dignity and respect. His explanations were clear and in terms my husband could understand (no med-speak). He took time to speak with me after the surgery. I have confidence in Dr. Orien as a physician and in his knowledge and skills.
