Dr. Jason Konopack, MD

In 2018 I went to see Dr. Konopack at my local Old Town UF Office. From that very first visit, he put me on the right path for my rare illness, Cushing's Disease. He advocated for me and went above and beyond with testing. I was finally diagnosed with cyclical Cushing's disease 3 years later. If it wasn't for him being in my corner and his support, it would have taken me much longer to get my diagnosis. I had brain surgery Oct 2021 and was in remission for 7 months before the Cushing's came back. As of Feb 28th, I am in remission after having both of my adrenal glands removed. The pathology reconfirmed that my adrenals were enlarged had hyperplasia and focal micronodules and were overworked due to Cushing's. I have a new normal but I now have a chance at a happy healthy life. and it all started with this wonderful doctor, who actually listened. Thank you.

Great Dr. Spends the necessary amount of time with each patient, no rushing. Listens very carefully to what you have to say, (a characteristic alot are not favoring today they treat you more like cattle than patients... mooo!,) not the case here, far from it. To be honest, I've never seen him without a smile. It's obvious that he loves his work and it shows in the visit. The wait is very minimal before going back, the longest ive had to wait I think was 30min, he was running behind that day. But compare to others, that's a dream. I have others that the wait is usually around a hour to 1 1/2, it's a given. We should be very very thankful he comes all the way to Old town from Gainesville..

He is one of the best doctors I’ve ever met. So glad I found him.
