Dr. Jason Jensen, MD

This Doctor showed no critical thinking or offered any plan to help with my mild eye infection. Instead he ordered in office tests and then refused to treat my eye infection until my next follow up appt. After this time wasting experience, I will not be returning to his practice ever!

As someone with more experience with ophthalmology than I'd prefer (!) - I'll leave it there, but you can assume multiple issues - I'm writing only one day after a surgical procedure by Dr. Jason Jenson to praise him for his superior skill, his interpersonal manner with patients, and, most important of course, for restoring clear vision to one of my eyes! The issue that brought me to Dr. Jensen - my first experience with him - was a very common complication of cataract surgery that shows up, if it's going to, years later. It's termed posterior capsular opacification. (Talk about making things opaque - medicine is the champion! Couldn't just call it 'rear capsule blurring'? Nah...) Anyway, although treatment for this condition involves only a five-minute laser procedure, the results critically depend on the skill and experience of the physician. Two days later my vision in the affected eye has gone from 30% blurred to at or near 0%! THANKS, Dr. Jensen!

Dr Jensen is a wonderful ophthalmologist I have seen him multiple times for both glaucoma and cataract surgery. He is very knowledgeable, professional and most importantly kind and caring. He really listens. The staff is efficient and friendly. It’s been a very positive experience.

The office runs like grand central and has a friendly efficient staff keeping the flow moving - l had no idea an eye exam like this involves multiple exams if the eye and can take 4 hrs going through the different eye exams on specialty machines.
