Highly recommend
What I really like about Dr. Gray is that he is extremely realistic and transparent. Had what I thought to be a bad sprain for 4 months turn out to be a fractured scaphoid and he was realistic and transparent about everything regarding my options. From the possible consequences good and bad so I could make as informed a decision as possible. From the surgery to my final checkup he was respectful, realistic, and available if I had questions.Wouldn’t go to anyone else

I had 3 torn ligaments in my left shoulder and 4 in my right. Went to 3 doctors and no one would take me. Dr Gray took my case without a 2nd thought. Laid everything out and fixed my shoulders. He's personable, kind and caring. He will explain your situation so you are fully aware of what's ahead! THANKS DR GRAY!!

Would not go anywhere else
Had a reverse shoulder replacement and it couldn’t have gone better. Almost full movement back and no setbacks or complications. Wife had went to another place in Anchorage but they are so busy her problem had complications because of lack of follow up and taking so long after they found problem.AOS was fast and knew what they were doing.

Excellent care from Dr. Jason Gray
If you are searching for an orthopedic specialist/surgeon, I highly recommend Dr. Gray. I injured my shoulder that turned to frozen shoulder. Extremely painful. I went through six months of PT and one cortisol shot but was not improving. The pain affected my daily living and how my body moved. Dr. Gray was a second opinion. He did not force surgery on me but rather explained my options in a way that I could understand (not being a doctor) and was very patient in answering my questions. I had surgery late June and by October I could do the pull downs at the gym and planks. I followed his instructions post-op and had no need for oxy. Dr. Gray is into the details and that's what you want from an orthopedic surgeon. More importantly, I missed caring for and carrying my toddler nephew and niece and I got all of that back faster than I would have thanks to Dr. Gray. That second opinion turned into the best option for me. Stop your searching and call Dr. Gray.

Two thumbs up
I saw Dr. Jason Gray to find out what could be done about the Dupuytren's contracture I was suffering from. Getting an appointment was quick and easy. The Dr. and staff were very friendly and informative. At the evaluation, Dr. Gray told me what my options were and what outcome to expect. I opted for the non surgical option which involves two visits for each hand and the results were amazing. For five years I had three fingers that were continuously curling in towards the palm of my of hand at a greater than 90 degree angle preventing them from laying flat against a table and interfering with other activities like fishing. When he was done with the manipulation the fingers were straight and usable immediately. I am so happy with the results and I would highly recommend Dr. Gray of Alaska Orthopedic Specialists. Tom K.

The Best!
I was referred to Dr Gray by a friend and making an apt with him was the best decision I made with this last radial head break. He won’t have you doing anything that is not necessary and that was appreciated. The first place I talked too wanted me to do additional imaging that would have been expensive and was not needed. I would not have know that if it wasn’t for Dr Gray. If you are reading these, you are more than likely looking for an Ortho ….stop reading and call His office! You won’t regret it!

The Best Doctor!
Im so thankful that Dr. Gray was my doctor i fully ruptured my achilles last march 18,2023 and able to see me really fast despite of his busy schedule, he explain to me the healing process, gave me two options to go surgery or not and the healing process will still be the same but i prefer to get surgery done so i can get better fast and he fix my achilles 4 days after the accident. Lucky that he have no surgery schedule thAT day. He is very professional and very kind doctor. Totally reccommend dr. Gray. I got healed so quick because of him. He is the kind of doctor that will help you get back on your feet in no time now im back to work Totally recommend him 100% I’ll rate him 10 because he is the best surgeon and doctor I’ve met!

Shoulder surgery
Dr. Gray made me feel confident about the results I could expect from my shoulder surgery, while at the same time making me aware that recovery would take some time and effort on my part. He thoroughly explained my MRI results and what my injuries were. I am still recovering but not in any pain and my strength is almost back to 100%. I would definitely go see him again if I needed surgery for something else.

Excellent care provided.
I got an appointment within a week of calling. I was able to fill out information on line. I arrived a little early and was taken in for x-rays almost immediately. Dr. Gray's nurse was efficient and completed her work quickly. Dr. Gray was very personable and made me feel welcome immediately. He answered all my questions to my satisfaction and we were able to come up with a treatment plan to my satisfaction.

In May 2022 I had a work crush injury to left ring and long finger just a week before Summer Break. I feel so bless that Alaska Regional Hospital Emergency contacted Dr Gray. I had a good communication with Dr Gray prior to surgery and I feel confident that Dr Gray can take good care of my injury. He did! Dr Gray is the best surgeon! He listens to his patient concerns. Dr Gray keep his words to ask his office to contact me for follow up appointment. Dr Gray willing to come to Alaska Hand Rehabilitation to help me out on one of my therapy visits there. I highly recommended Dr Jason Gray to all my family and friends.

Outstanding Orthopedic Dr and Surgeon
I severed three fingers in May due to a table saw accident. You can imagine the damage. The excellent staff at Alaska Regional Emergency room got me stabilized and called in Dr Gray for an evaluation. Dr Gray reviewed the x-rays, my hand and explained the options. Surgery was scheduled Immediately. The surgery took approximately two hours. Had a follow up Appt. with Dr Gray a week after surgery. He examined the hand and scheduled me for immediate physical therapy with Alaska Hand Rehabilitation. An excellent choice because they knew exactly what to do to get my hand/fingers back to being functional and build the confidence I needed to start using my hand again. Fast forward four months, my hand is healed and functional. I can now see that Dr Gray knew exactly what he was doing during the surgery. My hand not only looks good, but it also feels good. Every situation is different but for orthopedic needs, I highly recommend Dr Gray and the staff of professionals he works with.
