Dr. Jason Ferreira, MD

Dr. Ferreira specializes in advanced endoscopic procedures and that’s mostly what he does. I began with him for SIBO. He was fine initially but quickly handed me off to a PA because he was only doing procedures. A year later I pushed hard and wangled a personal visit with him. He prescribed the appropriate antibiotic (without breath testing) but it wasn’t covered by Medicare and costs 2-3 thousand out of pocket. He was supposed to follow up with me as planned but he never returned my call. I don’t think he’s very interested in gut patients who don’t require interventional procedures.

My mother and husband are his patients. He is absolutely amazing, the best of the best. I can go on and on how wonderful he is. Excellent doctor, very caring, Always prepared and on top of everything. I never ever met a doctor like him.

I was a patient of his predecessor, an amazing, kind, caring, and professional doctor, but he retired and took over his patients. Now I cannot get an appt, get care or get my medication. This is extremely serious and scary and I will report this. Do not even waste your time with this doctor.

Great doctor

I had the pleasure to speak with Dr. Ferreira for an initial, and pre-procedure, consult. Dr. Ferreira made a great first impression and helped me feel very comfortable with the process. He answered all of my questions and then some. I appreciate the time he took to explain everything and his professionalism in doing so. I look forward to working with Dr. Ferreira to get things squared away. Thank you for taking my case from another provider/facility.

Dr Ferreira is exceptionally knowledgeable, extremely compassionate and a true Doctor. He will always make sure to follow up with you with any concerns he or you may have. He is a complete gentleman I call him my “gift from god”. He is amazing at diagnosing any issue or illness you have and immediately have a game plan on how to get you better. He devotes his time to his patients he may run late but it is only because he will be giving everyone his undecided attention including yours. He his kind and sincere. Thank your lucky stars if you are able to call him your Doctor because I’m grateful everyday he is mine. You want the best this state has to offer ..... then HE IS YOUR MAN!

The procedure was pain free. Dr. Ferreira performed exceptionally. I felt great afterwards. The prep was easy.

Dr Ferreira is extremely knowledgeable in his field. He takes the appropriate amount of time explaining diagnosis, options, and procedures. He follows up with calls and hospital visits and verifies prescribed medication. I consider him to be a very hands-on professional as well as being down to earth. He's an excellent conversationalist, a friendly doctor and a gentleman.
