My husband is battling cancer and had been developing weakness and declined for several days. The staff was amazing and friendly. Dr. Eidahl was very understanding of our struggles and thorough in his plan and explained everything. I want to commend this group of people for their compassion and dedication to their jobs.

Told me no fx, get MyChart later and I do have fx
I rolled my ankle badly. 4 years prior I did a similar thing to my other ankle and had an avulsion FX. Doctor tells me he read the X-ray and doesn't see a fx. I asked why the results weren't in MyChart and he said they haven't been read yet, but he was sure there wasn't a fx. The nurse tried to make me walk unassisted to the bathroom. I asked for help and she gave me a walker. I couldn't weight bare due to pain. That nurses name was Ryan. When the Doctor 'evaluated' me he didn't even check my ankles bilaterally to compare it to the other ankle. That is simple evaluation 101 stuff. I get discharged only to see my X-ray results come up in MyChart showing I do have a fracture. They didn't put me in a boot, they didn't refer me to orthopedic doctor. I have an orthopedic doctor I was able to call today to make an appointment. I had my boot at home from the last time I had an injury like this. I can't believe I was treated this way by the nurse and the doctor.

Good experience at this hospital
My husband was brought in after significant injuries from a bicycle accident. The nursing staff was great. Drm Eidahl was thorough and explained everything that was happening with his care and controlled his pain. We are thankful for the care we received and the way in which the situation was handled.

Horrible
This doctor does not even deserve one star. My daughter was sent to the ER from the Urgent Care for concerns of a blood clot. Dr. Eidhal entered the room looking annoyed, disinterested in helping, and treated my daughter as if he did not want to be bothered. He did not look up at my daughter during the visit. He did not do a thorough assessment nor address the reason we were there at all.

Horribly unpleasant person. Goes out of his way to make you feel like you don’t deserve to be in the emergency room. I highly encourage Mr. Eidahl to work on his bedside manner. I also found notes in my chart that he claims to have warned me about pre hypertension? Never in my life has any doctor ever said that to me. Concerning that this person is responsible for others’ health.

Condescending
I was with a person in the ER, for whom I am healthcare POA. This person's only symptom was swollen legs. After blood was taken and x-rays, a tech arrived and said there was an order for her to get a CT scan of her head and spine. I asked why, and was told by the tech that he didn't know, and to ask the doctor for an explanation. When the ER doctor finally arrived, I asked why a CT scan was ordered for her head. Doctor said it was for dizziness (which she didn't have), and then said to me condescendingly, "It's called a stroke."

He was brusque and arrogant. I was having chest pains. He didn’t offer any idea the cause and released me w a bp of 168/110! My cardiologist would be appalled.

His bedside manner was absolutely horrible. My 19 year olds doctor sent her to the E.R. Where, unfortunately, this doctor "treated her". He came in the room arrogant and was not the slightest bit pleasant to deal with. He did not listen to why her doctor sent here there. It does not seem he has any interest in helping people. Will never go to him!!

I would put zero stars if it would let me, but want to ensure this review gets out there. Rudist doctor I have ever come across with absolutely the worst bedside manner. He and the nurse that were assigned to our daughter at Riverside ER were possibly the least caring and unhelpful health care providers out there. Obviously could care less about the patient, their feelings or well being.

Transported to Ohio Health Pickerington by EMT after a car accident. He spent about 5 minutes in the room and was not really paying attention to what I was telling him.
