Dr. Shah was 35 minutes late to my appointment. Since I arrived well in advance of my time it meant I was there almost an hour waiting. That's understandable, they're busy. Unfortunately she also did not deign to take down information about my situation. I told her I was trying a restrictive diet to stop having a bad reaction to food, and two days later she told the nurse to prescribe that diet. It left me feeling she was not listening at all. I asked about a sleep medication and offered three meds that I had used before and were in my DHMC records. She instead gave me a fourth medicine I have not tried and I found after I left that it conflicts with a medication I am already on. No one at DHMC or Dr. Shah found the conflict or even took note of my existing medications. I have a heart condition. That could've killed me. And finally, she's the ONLY PCP accepting patients at her facility. That is ridiculous, and clearly shows how she got this busy.
