I was explained all my results in a way I could understand what she was talking about. And that is very important to me.

Awful
Unprofessional in many situations he is dismissive and arrogant, if you don’t agree with anything he says he would becomes inappropriately angry and he doesn’t seem to care about boundaries between the healthcare professionals, patients and their families. I don’t recommend this physician due to his personality issues however I do believe he is a capable and knowledgeable physician who has bad manners and little interest in patient care versus money.

My experience with Dr. Brar was beyond awful, it was more like beying in the worsed nightmare you can't wake up from. Dr. Brar was assigned to oversee my mothers care while at St. Alexius Hospital. The night of admition he was more concerned and talked down to my sister about mom's plan of treatment and future plan's with her cancer (multiple myoloma) even though he's never been involved in her care directly and knew very little about her present marker count. He got very unproffessional and rude attacking my sister insisting we are doing it all wrong and mom should had been in hospice not under general care. Feeling violated my sister told him she is not mom's power of attorney and told him to call ME with any concerns as she speaks broken English and doesn't understand the language intricacies completely. Despite my sister's unwillingness to continue the conversation he persevered and continued to unload his anger and unhappiness having to oversee moms care with Medicare and Me

I saw Dr Brar at Glen Oaks hospital for chest/epigastric pain. My experience was less than pleasant. As I was trying to explain my symptoms, he was more interested in telling me what I was feeling. Due to being admitted for chest pain, his concern was Only chest pain. His plan was to treat any cardiac issue and 5hen send me to GP for referral for further care. I was told to repeat his treatment plan back to him, to make sure I understood him. Perhaps I seemed dumb or possibly hard of hearing?? I found him very condesending and not really interested in what I was telling him. I asked him if he was going to release me being in agonizing pain if it weren't cardiac issue, he said he wld treat the pain..I guess asking the cause of the pain was out of his scope of practice. All and all am being sent to GP for referal to gi specialist and for mamagram due to new finding of breast lump. I am glad my experience with Dr Brar was short.

Brar recently saw my mother at St. Alexius @Hoffman estates IL. He was incredibly unprofessional and rude. He told my mom that her condition (asthma) was “god’s punishment” on her. When she asked to be discharged he prolonged her stay for no good/acceptable reason esp when all specialists had checked off. When she insisted on getting discharged he told her “what if you die ??”later he said “if you die, your family will sue me & I don’t want that.” He talked down to her. will avoid him in future
