Dr. Jared Overman, DPM

I went first for some foot structural issues. I felt he was completely dismissive of the issues I was having. He didn't take my underlying disabilities into account. He made orthotics and then talked about 'running' If he would've listened, he would've known that I haven't been able to run most of my adult life due to foot issues. I tried to write a letter about this and never received a response. I went back recently for a different issue that I thought would be neutral and uncomplicated. Even for this, he completely dismissed the issues I had with this and didn't understand how the procedure could effect my disabilities.

My parents are in their eighties, he is not accommodating if you have any disabilities. Very condescending. Do not recommend this doctor.

I’m an active person and runner. I had a foot surgery several years ago by this doctor, and have had problems off and on since then. The procedure he was supposed to have done, a Weil Osteotomy, has led to ongoing complications. I’ve had to have two additional surgeries to correct the problems created by the first one, but he took so much bone initially that I am left with few options and chronic pain. I do not recommend him and suggest avoiding Jared Overman. He is unprofessional and far too liberal with surgical tools. He completely altered the biomechanics of my foot. Seek care elsewhere.

Dr. Overman is our hero! He saved my husband's broken/deformed toe and had him walking normally in less than 6 weeks. Dr. Overman knew exactly what to do when other podiatrists did not.

When I first went to Dr. Overman my feet were a mess. Every step I would takes felt like I was barefoot walking on glass. He found large calluses with deep wounds under neat. His treatment was not limited to just my feet but what kind of socks and shoes to wear. When my wounds were not healing fast enough, he referred me to a vascular specialist who was able to clean out the arteries and veins in my feet restoring the blood flow. Today my feet have healed, and I walk with no pain thanks to Dr. Overman and his wonderful staff.

If you can avoid this doctor, do. He is condescending, won’t answer questions that allow you to help yourself and manage your care in between appointments, and won’t address your concerns with any sort of respect. He will rush you like his office is on fire, then dismiss you when you ask him to slow down. How in the WORLD did this guy make any headway in his career with an arrogance and bedside manner so uncontrollably terrible.

Dr. Overman is fantastic. I've been to perhaps a dozen podiatrists over the years and most are just orthotic factories who don't listen to my issues before deciding on a plan. I have a couple of problems in my right leg and foot and Dr. Overman listened to all issues before making his recommendations. His staff is excellent and the office is state-of-the-art including an x-ray machine that shows live images so he could move my big toe to truly see what was causing problems. Highly recommended!!

I have thrown my back out several times over the last 4 years and I would get it treated by a chiropractor. Sure, they would straighten me out but I always ended up going back. It wasn't until I quit being skeptic and learned where my issue was. It was in my feet. Dr. Overman and the MA's, Brittany and Nicole were exceptional. I ended up getting orthotics and they have helped me A LOT!! I can dance on stage, go grocery shopping and even stay at the gym longer. I am soo grateful!!

Dr. Overman is very professional, considerate, and compassionate. He listens to all your concerns and explains his reasoning to the fullest extent. He also covers and=y concerns and thoughts that I have on my treatment. His bedside manner is second to none. Good job Dr. O. I must also mention that his staff personnel are just as awesome: Britany, Cate, Ashley, and all the others.

Dr. Overman was fantastic! He was caring and so very knowledgeable about my feet! He took the time to explain what was the problem and offered me different solutions.
