Dr. Jared Gelband, DMD

I Went in for a biopsy on the left side of cheek. Turned out it was nothing. four days later I could not open my mouth without pain. Went back five times with no change telling me to stretch my mouth. I left in tears each time. The doctor said “no pain no gain”. Past me on to physical therapy. PT has been working with me three times a week. They do not advocate pain for a cure. I have not heard from the Doctor since. I have a long recovery road ahead because of him. Hit a muscle or a nerve with needle. This occurred in March, 2024.

Dr. Gelband was so patient with this 88Year old who is on blood thinner and needed an extraction yipes!! He took his time, explained every thing and was sensitive to my needs. Dr. Gelband is the best!

I am very impressed with Dr. Gelband from the minute he walked in. He made me feel comfortable and had me laughing from the start. The nurse staff was also so calm. I have never been under before, so I was very nervous and started to cry, but they all calmed me down and then it felt like it was over in 2 min. My appointment was at 8:00 and was done by 8:45 with all 4 of my wisdom teeth. Would recommend anyone to go here! Wonderful experience.

I recently completed a dental implant with Dr. Gelband, following an earlier extraction. At all of the office visits, whether for actual procedures or follow-up, Dr. Gelband has been a terrific doctor. He always clearly explains the situation, options, what to expect, and explains what he is doing during each procedure. This is a doctor who actually looks at you and listens, and is never in a hurry to get to the next patient. He always asks if there are any further questions. He wants the patient to be completely comfortable with each procedure. He is smart, compassionate and very skilled. I had zero pain after an implant was placed--amazing! On top of all of that, he's a really nice person. His surgical assistants are very competent and nice, and the office staff is professional and helpful.

Excellent oral surgeon ! Explained everything that he was doing (step by step). Never felt any pain nor discomfort ! I had tooth #15 extracted. Dr. Gelband could "not" have done a better job ! HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. GELBAND !

Dr. Gelband was incredible. He removed my wisdom teeth and let me keep them! He was so kind and compassionate and very thorough. I am recommending him to all my friends who also need their teeth removed. Amazing!

Dr Gelband was excellent! He talked me through the whole procedure & explained what he was doing before he did it, which put my mind at ease. It’s always uncomfortable to have work done on your teeth but I’m glad I had Dr Gelband who was truly an expert in this field!
