Dr. Janine Ferrier, MD

Initially, my visits with Dr. Ferrier were positive. However, more recently, I’ve noticed a decline in her level of care. She doesn’t follow up on lab results, whether through the portal or via a phone call. When I bring up concerns or ask for her opinion, she often responds with statements like, “I don’t know, that’s why I’m sending you to a specialist.” Lately, she primarily sits at her desk, inputs our discussion into the computer, performs a quick exam, and leaves. It feels impersonal and rushed. Her Medical Assistants seem to handle most of the patient questions, and messages rarely seem to reach her. Unfortunately, I no longer feel confident in her care and will likely not return or recommend her to others.

Dr. Ferrier took time and listened. Thorough and personable. My first visit was a very positive experience.

After Dr. Montegudo retired I was very apprehensive of finding a new doctor that would be as great as Dr. Montegudo. Well, I found her!! Dr. Ferrier is very attentive, she listens, she spends time with you and she is thorough! I still can't believe I got this lucky! The only downside is everyone loves her so much you need to plan well in advance for an appointment. Otherwise, I would highly recommend Dr. Ferrier as your PCP!

Dr. Ferrier's patient relations are exceptional. She is very attentive and compassionate. Her professional expertise in medicine, research and healthcare is superior and well-versed. Her office staff iare welcoming and knowledgeable about patient information. Annie works expeditiously to satisfy medical request, make appointments and follow-up to bring resolve to issues. Dr. Ferrier is one of the best Primary Care Physicians in Louisiana. I've reccommended many patients to her office.
