The exact opposite of the 1 star review above. She always listened and even fought the VA for me. I trusted her above any other Dr, at VA or outside the VA. I wish she was still my Dr. I put my PTSD/life in her hands and would do it again. In my experience with mental health many people can't handle the truth. Many of us miss you Dr Allison and wish you would have stayed longer. If 6 stars were available you earned all 6.

A Huge part of a team doing great work at the VA
Doctor Allison is someone whom really cares about people... The whole team at the VA and the programs they have in place to help VETs is top notch.. Doctor Allison helped me get through a really bad time in my life and helped me understand about my condition not just perscribe pills but the benefits of them for a better way to life.. To include everyone else at the VA I am living proof of people who help others not just for money her and they go above and beyond any job title.. I would not be alive today if not for Doctor Allison and the rest of the team at the VA ...

I am Dr Allison. I had the privilege of helping veterans for 24 years and retired when it was time. I know that my patients and colleagues appreciated my work, my dedication, and my skills. It was very difficult leaving as some of them were almost like family members to me. Sometimes patients do not get what they want.

Janine Allison is incompetent and extremely unprofessional. Uncertain how this person was allowed to practice with Veterans given she never served and she expressed a dislike for Veterans. Myself and several other Veteran patients at the Tucson VA filed complaints against Dr. Janine Allison but she was allowed to retire instead of being fired. Myself and many other Veterans are glad she is gone from the VA. Good riddance Janine Allison.
