Ignored Dangerous Symptoms & put my life at risk
She comes across as caring, but showed negligence that nearly cost me my life. Her office doesn’t routinely test urine--demand that. She dismissed my concerns about severe swelling and only after I demanded urine test when my BP was at 140/90(high for my baseline), which showed traces of protein, she ordered an induction. After 37h labor, and with legs and face twice as swollen as before, they released me the next day. When I contacted her from home about shortness of breath, shivers, swelling, and raising BP, she literarily responded with' the swelling will go down, the BP is fine. You’re fine”(still have the text message). That evening I found myself at the ER in hypertensive crisis (BP 220/180) and significant end-organ dysfunction with the attending saying I nearly had a stroke & could have died.10 days in the hospital with severe postpartum preeclampsia, and months of medication afterwards. After all this, Dr. Moscoso remained dismissive, and shown no regret or care. Do better.

If you agrees with everything she says you should be fine. If you question even one thing she gets uncomfortable and she treats you differently. My wife felt really bad and cried because this doctor did an aggressive membrane stripping without asking first, in order to speed up labor.

Week 24 so far she has been great. Husband I feel she listens, and is very caring and takes time to explain and answers questions, and takes allot of the fear away from the experience we are going through. What more can we ask for. We are new to Florida and do not know anyone and never expected to be having a baby girl. I must say she makes us feel like family. We feel fortunate to have her in our life.Good luck to us all and God bless.
