Dr. Janette Andrews, MD

Dr Andrews recently stopped prescribing birth control for religious reasons. When I went to fill my birth control RX the pharmacy notified me that they made several attempts to reach her but she still had not sent over a new refill which led me to call the office. That was when I was notified that she would not be refilling. I was unable to schedule an appointment with her office so I had to find a new OB which led to there being a gap in my birth control until I could find a new provider. After being off birth control and then getting back on, a month later I got a blood clot in my lungs which my PCP believes to be from the gap in birth control. This could have been avoided if the Dr had notified me as her patient that she would no longer be refilling.

I have seen Dr. Andrews for my yearly exams and birth control implant replacements. She is very kind, empathetic, knowledgeable, and caring. She speaks very candidly and directly and I trust her opinions. When you talk to her, you can tell that she's actually listening to you, not just blowing off your symptoms or concerns. You can tell how much she cares about her patients and the work she does through her joy of being there. She is knowledgeable about many things and was one of very few doctors who was able to recognize my immunology disease right away.

Dr Andrews provided great services and was willing to go above and beyond to fit me into the calendar before I lost my insurance. She explained information thoroughly and ensured the procedure was comfortable.
