Dr. Janet O'Brien, MD

I met with this doctor online and she was convinced that my sinus infection was viral. She was unwilling to consider my decades long history of bacterial infections. She also was convinced that a specified antibiotic is ineffective for a virus. But there is new research to dispel this myth. She was very snippy and unpleasant

Dr. O'Brien saw me online for a common issue but with a lot of ins, outs, and what-have-yous around my specific circumstances and implications for treatment, and was a great listener. She was both kind and to-the-point, and despite having only 15m scheduled for the visit we got it done in 10. Highly recommend.

Dr. O'Brien is superlative in every way, I really got a lot of value out of our time together and I'm so sad that Heal is dropping service in my area. Dr. O'Brien is a very caring person who brings a tremendous amount of experience and training to bear for her clients. She motivated me to start taking health more seriously. Her clear explanations of next steps for this visit and suggested best practices for maintaining my health. 3. Her cordial and practical bedside manner shown even through a conferencing app! 4. Speed within which my medical concern was taken care of -- I booked an appointment on a Sunday morning and saw Dr. O'Brien on Sunday afternoon. Amazing!

Due to a work injury 20 years ago, my treating physician & I have been able to manage my pain with a closely watched regiment of pain medication. Dr. O'Brien decided after reading a brief summary of my case, that I no longer needed my medicine and that it was not helping me. Dr. O'Brien has based her decision solely on textbook treatment. She does not look at the whole picture and what is best for her patients. As an Internist she should know the dangers of abruptly stopping pain medicine!!
