Professional, friendly, and caring.
I didn't have to wait like most doctor offices. I was helped AT my appointment time. The staff was professional and Dr. Goodfellow was patient, friendly, professional, and took her time answering all of my questions and making sure I was getting the check-ups I need. She cares.

Unsympathetic
I’ve spoken so highly of this doctor until my last experience. I made an appointment a few months ago and missed the appointment because I was laid off. The appointment was a month away. Thinking I would elect COBRA I kept the appointment. COBRA was too expensive so I never elected it. I completely forgot to cancel the appointment and for that this Doctor personally black listed me for the entire practice. I explained my situation and she wouldn’t hear any of it and would not make an exception.

Amazing!
My first visit with Dr. Goodfellow was great! She’s so nice and and listened to my concerns regarding my visit. I did not feel rushed and she genuinely cares for her patients. I’m so happy to have her as my PCP! Highly recommend!

Disappointed
I read all the reviews before selecting Dr Goodfellow as my PCP but I was very disappointed with her in person. She was harsh, abrupt and condescending. More of an old school doctor personality with poor bedside manners in my opinion. She didn’t take time to listen but was rather lecturing me which I did not appreciate and she was obviously very hurried. I left the appointment feeling like, “What the heck just happened?” My last PCP was kind, patient and understanding even if he didn’t really know how to help me. Bedside manners goes a long way.

Great doctor
She is so wonderful in regards that she listens to your concerns and addresses all the issues that you have. She is very professional, very caring and very understanding. I’m so happy to be here at Irvine Family Care and having Dr. Goodfellow take care of me the other day.

Patient's impression of Dr. Janet Goodfellow
Dr, Goodfellow was personable and down to earth, but at the same time very thorough & professional. She was focused and listened to what I said without interrupting or being condescending. I was quite impressed with her knowledge & her ability to explain things in a way understandable to her patients. I feel very fortunate to have her as my physician and would have no reservations recommending her to friends and family.

Personable and knowledgeable doctor
First time seeing her after her colleague (sheryl long..my doctor of 36 years) retired. She was attentive, knowledgeable and caring and probably spent more time than I should have had for this type of appointment.

Excellent Dr, quality care
I’ve been going to Dr Goodfellow since she opened her practice at the Barranca office over 20 years ago. She is an excellent physician, in all aspects. She actively listens, she provides good analysis and diagnosis, she prescribes appropriate treatment, and she really provides such excellent care that over the years I just stopped even going to my gynecologist and just go to her. I trust her, she is up to date on relevant medical findings and studies, and I highly recommend her and her wonderful PAs at Irvine Family Care. They are dedicated to high quality care for their patients.

Truly vested in her patients well being
I've been a patient for 17+ years and Dr Goodfellow is an amazing doctor. She is truly vested in her patients well being. She stays on top of any concerns I have & is sure to address. She answers questions calmly and in patient friendly language. The appointment wait times are not an issue because she is worth my time.Her office staff is friendly, courteous and responsive. Doctor Goodfellow has been our doctor for 10 years now and both my wife and I think she is great. The office staff are friendly, the doctor is friendly and takes extra time with me when needed. She and her staff have helped me in good times and bad. Doctor Goodfellow is the best doctor I have ever had.
