Dr. Janet Davis, MD

I waited 4-hours for a follow up appointment with Dr Janet Davis, and it was a complete waste of time. I took off work, from my Nursing duties, to confirm, that the Eye condition I was previously misdiagnosed in having, and treated for, with a high potency steroidal Eye Drop, that caused me to lose vision, was still not present..Instead, Dr Davis had her student, who has not passed their final board exams, evaluate me, and Dr Davis did not even have the decency, to look into a microscope, to evaluate my Eyes. Not only did Dr Davis not evaluate me, but she sat in a chair, tried reviewing my records, and appeared confused, and could not even make a decision on the validity of my visual acuity …I hope Dr Davis reads this review, along with her colleague, Dr Thomas Albini, who misdiagnosed me, becomes more responsible, and takes their profession seriously, so that they will not cause any harm to any patients who put their care in their hands.

Dr. Davis is an excellent Ophtalmologist. In fact, she is the only specialist in Miami you can see to treat retina birdshot choroiditis, a rare disease that I suffer. The worst is the very long time you have to wait to finally see her, it is ridiculous. I have seen her 2 times with appointment and in both cases I had to wait more than 6 hours. Outrageous! In my opinion, the Admon. Of this Hospital should work trying to improve this serious inconvenient.

Dr. Davis is the BEST...........One of the mayor reasons I live in South Florida is due to Dr. Davis and the access to her practice. Thanks Dr. Davis.
