Dr. Janelle Foroutan, MD

She is the worst doctor I’ve ever encountered, she was rude and refused to answer my questions. I don’t understand how a well educated person would behave like that! She was very unprofessional and didn’t take patient care seriously at all!

Dr. Foroutan first met my husband and I after a devastating 2nd trimester loss. She was compassionate, informative, professional, and hopeful for a future pregnancy due to my medical and OB history. She is a truly remarkable physician. I look forward to writing an updated review as I am currently pregnant and being closely monitored by Dr. Foroutan herself. If you are able to have her as you MFM provider, you are truly blessed and will have exceptional care for yourself and your unborn child/children.

My experience with Dr. Foroutan was wonderful!! She’s very knowledgeable, attentive, professional and took such good care of me. She explained everything to me clearly and answered all of my questions. Overall an excellent and outstanding doctor. I highly recommend her!

Being a St. Peters patient all of my life this was a surprising disappointment. I came in for an ultra sound for my first pregnancy and when she came in she never announced her name. I had to do my research after to find who she was. Soon as she began to check me her first words to my baby were " Move your arm kid you're blocking my view" I was so taken aback because who speaks like that. Not sure if she thought it was funny but I was very offended and felt it was aggressive. I was there for my 20 weeks extra long ultra sound to ensure my baby was growing healthy, she only said everything looks normal. I wish she could've gave some detail instead of rushing, especially considering I am a new nervous mom. Luckily before her the ultra sound nurse was gentle and kind and was able to give me positive feedback as any new mother would want to hear. God willing I never have to see her again because I wouldn't trust her having to do anything with my kid. Her bedside manner was horrific.

Dr. Janelle Foroutan examined me during my pregnancy (targeted ultrasound). She was 30 min late (I was the first appointment of the day). Her bedside manner was abysmal. During the procedure, instead of saying "normal" she kept saying "not special" - un-necessary, inappropriate comment! I asked her opinion regarding delivery options and she gave me a half-baked, condescending response, wrapping it up snappily with "I am not your ObGyn, I am your radiologist".
