Very Disappointing Care
I have been a patient for several years my treatment has been ok. However, I am no longer in need of OB care and my GYN care is routine. The reason for the one star rating is this. I recommend both of my daughters to Dr Atkerson a few years ago, they both said she was ok and the location was convenient. In the last 2 years they both expressed concern of their treatment by her and have found another doctor for their OBGYN needs. It's extremely disappointing knowing how they were treated especially at my recommendation. Considerations, exhibited a lack of empathy and compassion in their interactions. Her demeanor was consistently rude, dismissive, and often conveyed a sense of judgment. If you prefer a doctor that listens and respects how you feel about your body and OB care then I would not recommend Dr. Atkerson.
