Dr. Jan Wagner, MD

There is no doctor more knowledgeable than Dr. Gillespie when it comes to treating and relieving severe pain. She takes so much time listening to her patients’ concerns before developing a treatment plan together with the patient. Pain varies greatly from one patient to the next, unlike other physical health issues, so the treatments vary as well. Where some doctors might routinely prescribe narcotic pain killers, they remain Dr. Gillespie’s last choice of treatment. As a chronic pain sufferer for 38 years, I can’t say enough positive things about Dr. Gillespie.

I suffered from a bad disk (L5-S1). This caused constant, chronic pain in the left side of the low back, & pain which radiates to left leg to the left foot where it is felt, - like sciatica, but tech. is (Herniated radiculopathy @ S1 Health Code-HC=724.4 & M54.17). Tired a few yrs of pain RXs, I saw a local surgeon who did a discectomy & enlarged the whole in the spinal column where the largest nerve goes to your left foot (Sacral Plexes ). Surgery in August, 2000, unfortunately, resulted in 8 months of pain relief, (< year) the pain came back, (“failed back surgery") I saw over 20 specialists (3 chiropractors & 1 acupuncturist, 4-6 PHYSICAL THERAPISTS-the last 2 Pool Based, normal PT was too painful). None of them compare to what Dr. Jan has done for pain, she really takes the time to get to know you & your problem, & will meet your needs. I saw her in 2013, , I have no complaints only complements, & don't know what to do when she retires? The staff is great & do telemed.

Don't have any experience! Still trying to get seen. May 7th, I had entire left knee replaced. Been trying to be seen at her office for 3 weeks now. Still no word from her office!

I was in tremendous discomfort in my hips and my back. Dr. Gillispie ordered an MRI and we had a consultation about results. The following Monday morning she did a procedure on me called Lumbar Oblation. I have been pain free since. Love her, she is very thorough and very good at her specialty.
