Great doctor!
I visited Dr. Koenig twice this past spring with spinal issues, and I couldn't have been happier with those experiences. Dr. Koenig is a very kind and compassionate person, and at the top of his chosen specialty. He gave me excellent care and information and, despite having been apprehensive about the visit, I left feeling very reassured, knowing that I was in excellent hands. I can't say enough good things about his office staff, as well...very pleasant, friendly, and professional. It couldn't have been a more positive experience, and I feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Koenig and his staff!

Touched my problem area for about two seconds and then proceeded to tell me that I did not have pain, there was absolutely nothing wrong and nothing to do. He saw on my chart that I had depression (post partum) and that. was that. My pain is in my head according to him. I’m imagining things. He didn’t ask any questions. He didn’t ask about any injuries. Interrupted me every time I tried to talk. He didn’t DO anything except be very condescending, rude and abrasive. All While trying to mansplain how insurance works. I guess he only has money on the mind. What a waste of time. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Have been visiting Dr K for over 15 years with minor to serious issues that needed varying degrees of treatment. He is the most caring and compassionate Dr I have ever visited. He communicates in understandable terms and never rushes you. His office staff is much beet than any other Drs office I have been in.

Dr. Koenig perfomed my Bi-lateral Knee Replacement in 2001 and since moving to SC every Orthopaedic I visit asks who did my knees, and saying Wow what an excellent job! Its been 19years and 6 months and they are still like new!

I could not be happier with Dr. Koenig. I would highly recommend him to ANYONE in need of knee replacement surgery. He has a wonderful temperment and his personality is so warm and highly considerate of his patients. He also is a highly skilled surgeon.

Worst Dr. EVER....I went to him for an evaluation for knee replacement, and all he did was berate me about my weight!! The whole focus of my appt. was a lecture on what I weighed! He was pious and condescending handing me a post-it note on my way out with what he thought my ideal weight should be.."When you way that honey, come back and see me". I found a competent surgeon who did the surgery and NEVER discussed my weight. I had a bilateral knee replacement, without losing any weight, and was back to work in 6 weeks..RUN, DO NOT use this archaic surgeon!!
