Excellent Surgeon
Dr. Terry is amazing! She was the first doctor I saw after receiving my breast cancer diagnosis. She was kind and took time to reassure me and answer all my questions. She is an excellent surgeon and has a great bedside manner. I highly recommend her.

Blessed Hands
Dr. Terry is amazing! I cannot praise her and her staff enough!! My entire process with her office was nothing short of gentle and caring. From the time they made the first contact with me, the staff was caring, professional and prompt. You can tell empathy and kindness are instilled in that office! I did not have to do anything but show up! They had my records, scans, insurance was verified in advance, they had it all taken care of before I got there. Normally as patients we have to track down our own records and get them to the Dr somehow and in time, that adds extra anxiety. I was already so anxious and afraid after my diagnosis but Dr. Terry spent alot of time comforting me and even held my hand and hugged me while I cried. I recently lost a sister to cancer and so this new diagnosis was so terrifying and triggering for me. Dr. Terry was so reassuring and compassionate towards me. The work she does and her demeanor make her amongst the very best and I highly recommend her!!

Anyone needing breast surgery need look no further than Dr. Jamie Terry! My outstanding surgeon was kind, caring, compassionate, personable, informative, reassuring, professional, confident, attentive, highly skilled, with excellent credentials and much-deserved 5-star reviews. Singing her praises here, what more can I say? At consult she gives all the time needed to feel empowered and informed. After skillful surgery, she is there to reassure and comfort you. This was my experience, for which I’m grateful.

Dr. Terry, is amazing! If you want a passionate, attentive, and caring doctor, look no further. Dr. Terry has been my doctor for over six months, and has also performed my surgery. She is so caring and I could not have had a better doctor in such a stressful time. She’s so caring and never rushes you out or leaves you with questions. Hence, wait times are longer because she will fully divide her attention to you and answer any questions you or your loved ones have in her office. She is always scheduling you to be seen fast, her office scheduler Sakita is amazing as well. You really couldn’t ask for a more patient and loving staff. I am truly amazed by the level of detail and compassion she has for her patients and her staff has the same attitude and attention to details. I’m very thankful to be a patient, I will contribute to always go here!

I saw Dr. Terry twice and each time I felt unheard, stupid, and rushed. Her waiting room is dead quiet with no music or life whatsoever, which is unsupportive of a cancer patient needing to be soothed. The exam rooms have paper thin walls and I could hear every conversation between her and patients, which made me uncomfortable. She talks over you, stops you to smile condescendingly if you try to interject, and basically comes at you with an ‘I know best’ attitude. I’m sure she is a wonderful surgeon, but I felt uneasy and decided to go with someone else, who better fits my needs.

I visited Dr.Terry this week. She was very thorough. She explained every facet of what was going on with me. Another Doctor had recommended a procedure that she fully explained the pros and cons of. She discouraged me from doing extraneous tests that would likely yield unactionable results. I appreciated her honesty and time.

Dr. Terry was more than I could have asked for. During the initial consultation she explained everything to me as thoroughly as possible. She was calm, patient, informative and kind. The wait time to see her can be extensive, but once you’re with her it’s as if you’re her only patient. Dr. Terry performed my surgery beautifully and successfully, keeping my incisions as inconspicuous as possible. And they are healing so well, they are almost gone. I am very grateful for Dr. Terry.

I checked in at 12:45 for a 1:00PM appointment. I was called to a room at 1:30. Vitals taken and no human being in sight after that. I could hear the physician going into two other patient rooms and could tell by the second conversation next door to me, that it was going to take a long time. I sat in a paper gown until 2:40 and then got up to walk the halls to look for staff. Found the front desk person, asked for the restroom and returned to the room. I left at 3:00PM without being seen.

I just looked at my review and it shows 1 star, I obviously have put 5 stars if you read my review. Can that be corrected? I do understand people upset with having to wait to see Dr. Terry, but she stays in the room with each patient and answers ALL their questions. That can cause others to wait. But once you get in she stays with you to answer questions you don't even think to ask. When you have cancer, she is exactly the doctor you want to see, even if you have to wait a while to get in.

I should have trusted the other reviews. Scheduling has been a nightmare and at this very moment I'm still in the waiting room for an appointment that was an hour ago. If she weren't my only surgical option from my incredibly horrid insurance I would have left by now.

Dr. Terry is an exceptional surgeon; she performed my bilateral mastectomy and I couldn't have been in better hands. She is up on the latest research, knowledgeable about current best practices, she was sensitive to my specific concerns, and she put my family members at ease, as well. She is the best!

Simply the WORST, MOST UNPROFESSIONAL experience I have ever had with a Doctor. I took my Mother-in-Law to her surgical consult yesterday and was appalled by Terry's behavior. She is pushy and domineering, interrupted us, talked right over us, and ultimately stormed out of the exam room in a huff after I confronted her for forcibly trying to yank out of my MIL's hand the list of questions she was asking Terry. Terry returned to the room, then stormed out again. Dr. Terry is unstable! Avoid!
