Dr. Sias was the OB my husband and I contacted when we first got pregnant. At 13 weeks, we lost the baby due to a missed miscarriage. I received my initial care for the miscarriage at the hospital. They advised me to wait a week before having a procedure to help the miscarriage complete. One week later I saw Dr. Sias. She shared in my grief but failed to check on me physically. I left that meeting thinking the miscarriage was complete. Now, three months later I am discovering there are retained products from conception (leftover tissue in my uterus from the miscarriage). We thought we were pregnant again because we had four positive pregnancy tests. Instead, my body has been producing low levels of HCG because it thinks it's still pregnant. We're both devastated and mortified. We are going to have a DNC to complete the miscarriage next week. Something that should have happened months ago and didn't due to Dr. Sias' negligence.

Beware before scheduling an appointment. I scheduled an initial appointment over three weeks in advance only to have someone from Dr.Sias' office call to cancel the appointment 2 hours before my appointment time!! They could not reschedule it until two more weeks later. I decided to call two days before this rescheduled appointment to confirm the time and was informed that Dr. Sias needed to cancel my appointment again. I was offered no explanation or reason for the two cancellations

I am a 60yo married woman in the same monagamus relationship for 40 years. I only came in for a routine Pap. I explained that due to dryness, intimacy was painfull. I declined the meds suggested because I tried them resulting in side effects. The exam and Pap smear was done with no further discussion. I was in shock when I received a bill for an HIV test, and every STD imaginable. The bill was over $500 and was declined by my insurance. Was it incompetence, greed, or no ethics?

Dr Sias is amazing -- definitely one of the most compassionate physicians I have ever had. I feel so comfortable and safe under her care. Her staff is always super nice and the mid-city location is really convenient.
