Dr. Lippman was not thorough, and she was flippant about it. She laughed about how she expected to get feedback from a specialist to whom she was asking a question that she "should've taken a sample"... but somehow still thought it was appropriate NOT to take a sample and to instead rely on her own cursory diagnosis. She was not knowledgeable about the (quite common) condition I was seeing her for, and she did not tell me the full complement of treatment options, even going so far as to snap at me when I asked about the hypothetical other options if the action taken did not help. She was not concerned about my concern for the way my condition was spreading during treatment or the potential scarring the current treatment appears to be leaving on my skin. I honestly felt like I was being gaslit about a very visible and common condition, and I am switching practices as a direct result of her unconscionably surface-level and rude conduct.

Dr. Lipman is kind and dedicated, helping with my wife who has difficulty with her heart and it's on a variety of medications. I have sat in on all of my wifes medical appointments. I find dr. Lipman to be well organized and through, with a breath of knowledge in a wide variety of areas. She also has a good sense of humor and is very likeable.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Lipman?
Dr. Lipman is friendly, but that's not the only thing someone should look for in a doctor. She never suggests anything I could do to help myself unless she's answering a very specific question. She says she'll follow up on things for me but never does unless I actually come in for an appointment. If you're overweight or mildly obese, I strongly suggest avoiding Dr Lipman. She will likely not suggest any alternative treatment options for anything besides "you could lose weight"
