Dr. Jamie Feldman, MD

Doctor Feldman is a quality therapist. I attended sessions with her for about two years. I will never go back to the place I was and symptoms I battled. She used a mix of talk therapy and medication to pull me through. She isn’t your fluffy type therapist and don’t count that as a negative because when it’s really serious she is a methodical pull yourself up by the bootstraps type and it works. She provided me the foundation I needed and was missing. One of Cambridge’s best in my opinion.

Parents be warned. Dr. Feldman made a serious misdiagnosis of my son, which led to a terrible downward spiral in his young life. She completely ignored parental input and warnings that her recommendations for the a specific medication was not effective for treating our son, in fact he was getting even more depressed. Rather than consult with a concerned and conscientious parent, she worked against the parents and kept increasing the medication. Thank God we found an ethical and eminently more qualified psychiatrist who helped our son by not only changing his medication immediately, but weaning him off entirely. I am happy to report that our son is living a productive life. He graduated from college and is tremendously successful in his professional and personal life. Dr. Feldman’s complete disregard for incorporating the concerns of parents is nothing less than negligent and a demonstration of her arrogance. I would NEVER recommend this woman to treat anyone.
