Long preop
Long preop. Surgery was scheduled at 10a. Didn’t get started until after 2pm. We were in the waiting room from 8am until the surgery got over~7:30pm. This was at Kearney Regional. Wish we would have better prepared for the long day and anxiety of not knowing what was going on in preop that was taking so long.

Dr Wudel is a very skilled surgeon. Since we first met him, Dr Wudel has performed two surgeries for Larry. The first surgery was to replace the mitral valve and a segment of the ascending aorta. Several years later, the second surgery was to replace the mitral valve again. Dr Wudel listens, explains, is patient, & truly cares about the whole person. The timely pre op and post op communication with Dr Wudel & his staff was excellent. He has earned our complete trust and confidence. We cannot thank you enough Dr Wudel! Dr. Wudel is an amazing surgeon. He repaired my ascending aortic aneurysm and I am so thankful I chose him to perform my operation. He truly cares about his patients and making them better! Thank you Dr. Wudel!

Dr. Wudel is wonderful! I was having major difficulty breathing because I had lots of liquid in the pericardium. Dr. Wudel performed a new technique called a Pericardial Window to release the liquid and make breathing more efficient. I am very, very happy with the results of my surgery. Dr. Wudel's skill is extraordinary!!!! Thank you, Doctor.
