Liar
Complained about how much he made to see me because of my insurance... Then told me he was leaving the practice.. He wasn't... It was just a lie to dump me as a patient because I had mahealth.... Had to cancel a surgery I had scheduled because I didn't have a primary.. Really messed my plans up.... Also the office staff is incompetent... Stay far far away

Great Doctor, Very Competent
Dr Wilson is very Professional, I have been he's patient for over a decade. He is straight to the point, but also very polite to he's patients, He have save my life more than once as i have many serious health problems . He is always there to help me ,to keep going. His personality isn't the type to make you feel like a neighbor, because he isn't OUR neighbor, he is OUR doctor and people tend to get confused thinking the doctor have to make funny jokes. I trust he's opinion because i know he wont lie to me and always tell me the truth about my conditions and problem's and always have the best treatment plan. He have compassion when we are in pain, he worry about us, and i can bet he don't make enough money to put up with so many nonsense that i see in some reviews that people leave. The waiting time is long some times, because other patients have a lots to tell him, and the he can't kick the patient out. Not the Docs fault. lets be reasonable.

Wonderful, caring physician.
With great empathy and caring, Dr. Wilson guided me through one of the most impactful events of my life - Breast Cancer. He stayed well informed of my prognosis and provided insightful assistance in helping me to understand my pathology report while giving me an overview of what to expect for treatment.

I've had better....meh!
Dr. is very socially awkward, poor bedside manner, very unprofessional. I'm surprised at these positive reviews. I would rather go elsewhere....wait times are also horrendous. Office is clueless & dysfunctional. He isn't my cup of tea, that's for sure! Dr. Jones however is excellent, as well as Nurse Practitioner Angela Giza.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wilson for approximately 3 years. I am beyond satisfied with the medical care I receive from Dr. Wilson. The office is always busy but I have never waited longer than 15 minutes to be seen. Dr. Wilson is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and takes his time to answer any questions or concerns you may have. I have known Jim and his family for most of my life. He is an all around brilliant guy and he is kind and caring. To "Carol" who commented above regarding no mention of his education and training....scroll down and you will see that he attended a very good Med School, achieving honors. I attended college as an undergrad with Jim and know that he graduated with high honors and tutored students on athletic scholarships while attending UMASS. I highly recommend him as a Primary Care Physician.

I have been a patient with the west Brookfield family practice almost 20 yrs....I find the atmosphere to be quaint very charming and comfortable. The staff is friendly. The offices are clean. Parking....I find is not very good...for my first ten years I was in walking distance. I highly recommend Dr Jeffrey Jones or Dr James Wilson my experience was exceptional!

The bottom line in finding a competent doctor is his or her ability to make the right diagnosis. This takes brains, going to a very good four year medical school, graduating near the top of their medical class, and first rate training in an internship, and a residency after graduation. It does not lie in friendliness or bedside manner. Furthermore, I do not see any credentials listed for this doctor.

I have been seeing Dr Jame Wilson for four years now and I think he is a great doctor! I moved kinda far from the practice and I still travel over an hour just to keep him as my doctor. Very caring and understanding. Also very up front and honest too :) I would recommend 100%

Unlikely. He's not very personable and during a physical just reads from a list. Plus he's kind of creepy.

He is a great doctor. The wait time to get in can be a little long, but so worth it. He talks to as a friend, doesn't rush you out of the office, works with you on any problems you're having, and genuinely cares. I personally was having a hard time with a diagnosis and he worked through his lunch to stay with me, explain what was happening and how we were going to get through it. I didn't even know it was his lunch time until I left, over an hour later. Receptionists have always been courteous.
