My daughter was diagnosed with what is now called a Dnet tumor when she was 4. We were sent to Herman hospital in Houston where we met Dr Wheless, we followed him to LaBonner. Her diagnosis in Tulsa was not good and getting worse that how ended up with Dr Wheless. To make a long story short she is now 34 and has two children and was the outstanding senior upon graduating from NSU. The Man and Labonner are truly miracle workers. Thank u from the bottom of our hearts

My son was diagnosed with epilepsy 4 years ago and had been medicated to keep the seizures suppressed. He would often have breakthrough still. Dr Wheless was very aggressive and thorough in his testing and diagnosing of my son and recommended him for surgery to remove a brain tumor. He diagnosed my son to have an operable brain tumor. He worked with Dr Boop(best neurosurgeon) and my son’s tumor was safely removed within 4 days after arriving here to Memphis! He was very thorough with testing to ensure that it was indeed an operable tumor that would not leave any deficits. Can’t say enough about Dr Wheless and Dr Boop and staff! They are the best!

Words can not describe how thankful my family is for Dr. Wheless. We drove 7 hours to see him. After my 12 year old had a completely normal life, had her first seizure then later was diagnosed with epilepsy, our world got turned upside down. He was so compassionate and caring. Not only that he was hope, at that point an ounce of hope was all we wanted. He gave us that and so much more. He truly is a great Dr. I did my research, he's who I trust my child with.

Dr. Wheless is not only a great neurologist but also one my forever heroes. He has saved my sons life numerous times. He is thorough and very personable. My son always gets a high five, a fist pump or acts silly somehow with the doctor which calms alot of my childs anxiety. It is a HUGE blessing to have had him come to Lebonheur when my son was so young as we together fought chronic seizures due to tuberous sclerosis. Constant seizure monitoring and 4 brain surgeries later my son is doing great!
