Dr. James Weingart, MD

When I lived in Thornton, my entire family used Dr. Weingart for nearly 15 years,. I moved to Lakewood and it was too much of a commute. I retired last year and not able to find a single doctor that felt as trustworthy, attentive or as knowledgeable. I have since made the decision that it is worth the drive from Lakewood to Thornton. I would give doctor Weingardt himself a 10 out of 10. The staff is terrible. I had some tests done. The call I receive for results literally said your cholesterol is doing great you can stop taking your meds and basically great job. Two days later, a different office personnel called and provided the exact opposite information. (Not good). Same things as other reviewer. Lack of follow-up, not courteous, sat in waiting room for 1/2 for a blood test etc. Staff would be 1 out of 10.

Horrible doctor He compares everything to himself I was and am having major memory issues he said it was due to age. When i found a doc that listened i found out i had a stoke and have dementia which might not as be bad as it is now if he would have listened and sent me to a neurologist My kids came to a few appointments with me and he would tell them the same thing its all was due to age. bottom line this guy is just collecting a paycheck and really doesn't care about patients STAY AWAY

I've a patient of Dr.Weingart's for more than 10 years. He is very knowledgeable and his bedside manner is very good. His office staff is another situation entirely. The staff changes frequently and the level of courtesy and follow-up from them usually gets worse each time. On many occasions his staff has failed to return my calls and send lab results,etc.
