Dr. Udell is ignorant and obnoxious. As you read his negative ratings you see a consistent pattern. He is dismissive and uncaring towards his patients. Dr. Udell is a creep. He shouldn't be allowed to treat a dog. He doesn't deserve to hold a medical license. He is a disgrace to his profession. Avoid doctor James Udell.

He is very dismissive. Does't seem to care much. His Bustleton Ave office is very run down. I had an appointment for a telemed follow up to get test results etc and I called several times, was told he was backed up but that he would call and to wait. 3 hours went by. Called the third and final time and the office was closed. No phone call for the appointment, no call to say he was not going to be able to make it. Nothing. They knew I was waiting as I had called twice prior to see when I was going to be called for my SCHEDULED appointment. Very unprofessional. Complete lack of respect for patient and patients time. Will never go back.

Dr Udell is horrible --- Does not listen to your problems or needs, I personally felt as if I was just another number. Just wants to bill the insurance co and get the money --- does not care at all --- go anywhere but here.

After being a patient for 15 yrs was turned away because i had a balance. Witnessed an 80 yr old patient turned away for $ 15.00. Dr Udell can't afford to have patients treated so disrespectful. He isn't the only Rheumatologist in the area. I only go to see him because of the nursing staff

Doesn't listen to what you have to say. If you are more complicated that a shot of cortisone in your knee, go elsewhere. Doctor Udell was disinterested and insulting. Staff was very nice. I even witness a staff member drive an elderly patient to another doctor's office when they were mistakenly dropped off to their office by transport. When I called to cancel due to Dr. Udell's insult at my prior visit, the staff apologized. Dr. Udell could learn a thing or too from his staff. Manners.

More than a sore knee in Philadelphia, PA – Dec 18, 2018

Office location is convenient. They offer Remicade therapy. Don't know much about other doctors in the same office. Udell, however, is an uncaring person who rushes you in and rushes you out. Rarely gives you more than 90 seconds. He does the least possible amount of work and accepts the fewest possible number of questions. Everything about him tells you that he just doesn't care. If you have a serious problem and need someone to listen to you, don't go to him.

If it was possible I would not give this doctor any stars at all. I would only send my worst enemy to him.

I'm sorry but I don't see how this doctor can have anything above 1 star. Personally he is not very compassionate.. Does not listen to your problems or needs, I personally felt as if I was just another number. I originally felt this way from my very 1st visit w/him but I figured I'd give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe he was having a bad day, you know! After now my 3rd, maybe 4 visits w/him now, I should have trusted my very 1st instinct. Awful doctor, didn't even discuss meds prescribed!!!
