I have had two total hip replacements and couldn't recommend Dr. Strickland more highly. He is kind, compassionate, caring and intelligent with total respect for his patients. I recommend him all the time.

Dr Strickland was great. I had a left hip replacement. The surgery went well. The recovery went well. There were no infections or issues. His bedside manner was good. He was right by my side in the operating room answering my questions and overseeing my comfort.

What can I say to fully describe the great person and surgeon this man is? He rebuilt my knee (ACL reconstruction) way back in 1980 after I suffered a horrific injury playing basketball. Then in 2015 I hurt the same knee and looked him up and as good luck would have it, he was still performing surgeries. I visited him, he examined me and scheduled orthoscopic surgery within 2 weeks to remove torn meniscus. Thanks to him I've maintained an active lifestyle my whole life and I am now 62. Greatguy

I've now had both knees successfully replaced by Dr. Strickland and I could not be more pleased with the results. After the surgery there was very little pain and actually did not even need the pain medicine. Recovery with physical therapy has been really quick compared with 'notes' from other friends that had the procedure elsewhere. I chose Dr. Strickland based on recommendations from therapists and nurses that work at Mercy and feel that was an excellent source when selecting a surgeon.
