Very unnerving and strange hsg experience
Women who are sensitive or going through complex fertility treatments- avoid! Go with a larger, more professional radiology clinic or better yet, AN OBGYN and not a radiologist (Dr. Silberzweig). I spent a total of 90 minutes on his table, legs splayed, (he made two attempts) and left with a 'failed' HSG test -- he was unable to locate the cervical opening, which he said had only happened one other time. Keep in mind he is not an OBGYN. He's a radiologist who has decided to specialize in this test. They played 80s rock music in the background and he rhythmically worked while I told him I was confused as to what was going on, and my anxiety was only worsening. Later, I confirmed that another patient had experienced the strange rock music too. I had to ask multiple times why the exam was taking so long and the answers were that he could not see the entrance to my cervix. His bedside manner was really really odd to me in that I needed to advocate for myself so much. I was so overwhelmed I

So kind and disarming
I was so, so nervous for the HSG Ultrasound but Dr. S and his staff were very kind, informative and made me feel comfortable at the time of the exam. He listened to my concerns and talked me through it each step of the way. The facilities were very clean and welcoming.

HSG exam
I had a fantastic experience at Dr. James E. Silberzweig's interventional radiology office . From start to finish, everything was seamless. Booking my appointment was incredibly easy, and the staff was friendly and efficient. I was so nervous about my procedure but the doctor was reassuring and made sure to answer any questions that I had. Dr. Silberzweig took the time to explain everything thoroughly, making sure I felt comfortable and informed. The procedure itself was quick and painless. What stood out the most was the follow-up message the next day, which I truly appreciated. It showed a level of care and commitment that is rare to find. I highly recommend Dr. Silberzweig for anyone looking for professional and compassionate medical care!

HSG test
I was nervous for days before my HSG test, as I had heard that it was a very painful procedure. I took 4 Ibuprofen and one benzodiazepine prior to the appointment and didn't feel a thing. I didn't even know that the test had started. Dr. Silberzweig and his medical assistant were so nice, and made me feel very comfortable throughout the appointment. It took only a few minutes. Highly recommend!

Mild discomfort, better that expected
I was really scared when i read about hsg experiences, I took 400 MG ibuprofen before the process. They explained the process is 5 minutes. When Dr ingest the solution, it was less that a minute, everything went very well. I felt mild cramping for a few seconds.

Very Professional
Yesterday I had an HSG test done with Dr. Silberzweig. The procedure lasted about 15 minutes or less, painless and found the results right away -tubes not blocked. Initially one of my tubes wouldn’t spill so he waited a bit and flushed a bit more and Boom tube unblocked.Dr. Silberzweig answered all my questions before the test, and explained what was happening during it. I can definitely recommend him to anyone who needs to have an HSG test. He even reached out today to check up on how I was feeling. Thank you Dr. S and all staff.

STAY AWAY!!!!!
Maybe I should have read the reviews before I even scheduled my appointment.... I called my insurance company to confirm that my HSG (Hysterosalpingogram) test was covered and indeed it was, my only out of pocket expense was my copay. Upon arrival the receptionists tell my I have a copay of over $350.00. I explained that I do not and they need to confirm with my insurance company. They called them 3x. I guess they didn't like my insurance company's responses. They then proceeded to called and pretended that they were me?? While they sat there whispering on the phone with my insurance company, My husband and I had an unsettling feeling that this was NOT the place to do such an intrusive test. This is a time sensitive exam that was not done and now I have to wait another month to do the test. On top of that the 2 women ahead of my were scammed out of their money. They were both asked for $400 cash and then negotiated their payments. PLEASE LADIES STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!

Great Bedside Manner
The office was clean and modern, the staff were kind and helpful, communicating with me through the Klara app before my appointment, confirming everything in person. I was referred by my reproductive endocrinologist for an HSG. Dr. Silberzweig gave me all the information and even though I was scared, reassured me and made the procedure as comfortable as possible. He let me know what was happening as we went, which was very helpful.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr S and his staff. I had an hsg today and cried because I was so scared. He and his staff were the kindest and gentlest and I had absolutely no pain. He’s a master of the craft and as kind as can be.

HSG Feedback
I had an HSG done and it was quick (less than five minutes) and relatively painless with some over the counter medicine. Dr. S. also has a nice bedside manner which helps those of us who are anxious patients.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Silberzweig and Monica the medical assistant. I was terrified for my HSG procedure after having a really bad experience elsewhere the month before. Dr. Silberzweig walked me through step by step, took time to let me breathe through the (common) cramping, and answered all of my hundred of questions. Dr. Silberzweig worked well with my anxiety. Unfortunately, we got some bad news and Dr. Silberzweig sat with us and patiently explained everything, and helped us set up an appointment for the next few days. I returned shortly after for a follow-up necessary FTR and had just as an amazing experience. I was really nervous but again Dr. Siblerzweig walked me through everything and took his time explaining and letting me breathe through the cramping. Thankfully we were successful and Dr. Silberzweig has made a positive difference in our fertility process. I highly recommend Dr. Silberzweig and his practice.

Dr. Silberzweig has a great bedside manner. He checks on his patients after each visit and will personally answer calls to answer questions. That's rare these days. He took the time to explain every detail of my HSG. The office is clean and has all the personal hygiene items you need to go about your day after your appointment. I would recommend him 100%

THE WORST reception ever. She must leave the clinic if she hates her job. Even she hates her job doesn’t mean its okay to be rude to patients. There are two females at the reception. The Asian girl was a bit nicer. But the other one? Big no to her.
