HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
I recently had an appointment with Dr. Schwartz and was very disappointed with the level of care and attention I received. Despite multiple efforts to share my extensive medical history and documentation, I know my concerns were not taken seriously as he laughed at me while I explained my conditions and pain. The evaluation lasted about 20-30 minutes, and the conclusions drawn about my ability to work are not accurate or aligned with my experiences or the opinions of current and previous specialists. As someone who has been living with disabilities due to my work injury and has been out of work for nearly 5 years, I believe it's essential to have a thorough and empathetic evaluation. Unfortunately for me, my interactions with Dr. Schwartz fell very short of that. It's very concerning that the Medical Board hasn't investigated him as others have had similar experiences with his medical professionalism and dishonesty when completing these second-opinion evaluations.

Dr. Schwartz.... so many things to say about this man. Very conceded, blunt, verging on rude. Does not listen to your concerns, says your medical conditions are not causing the pain that your in(even though 2 other doctors tell you different), discusses your chart in the Hall loudly with staff where everyone can hear him. Very dismissive, X-ray happy, argumentive man. Is he a good doctor? I don’t know yet. But I don’t think I’m going to mesh with him enough to find out.

Very matter-of-fact, superior attitude. He never made me feel heard. During the entire exam, I felt like I was trying to convince him of my pain/injury. Poor communicator.

Perfunctory exam with rough handling of my injury. Short on explanation, took a personal phone call in the middle of my appointment, contradicted his own advice in a 2nd appointment, and showed little to no consideration for the pain I was in. Nursing staff was kind and tried to make up for it after he left. Little help, no kindness from Dr. Schwartz. Slightly less rude/painful experience when I had an adult male relative attend with me, although Dr. then spoke mostly to him.
