Superb results!
My bunionectomy was fast, efficient, comfortable, and healed beautifully. My physical therapist just phoned me for a referral to my surgeon because 'You have the best results I've ever seen. At three months post-op, you were moving like other patients at the two-year mark.' I also found Dr. Porter to be caring, attentive and pleasant. I highly recommend Dr. James Porter.

Bunionectomy
I'm disappointed with the bunionectomy Dr. Porter did on my foot. It's been over 3 months since the surgery. My toe is not straight; it's a bit crooked. I'm wearing a toe spacer, and when I don't use it, the toe leans over toward and somewhat over the second toe. It's looking like I might need to wear a toe spacer for the rest of my life - or maybe find another podiatrist who can straighten the toe.

Honestly a great doctor I was very anxious about my procedure but it was done before I knew it and he seems like a very nice guy

Went in to see Dr. Porter after I missed a step and fell. They took x-rays and Dr. Porter came in to speak with me. His is very nice, very attentive and very knowledgeable. He asked a lot of questions and he listened to me. He even spoke with my daughter and listened to her. I never felt rushed. I would recommend Dr. Porter to friends and family.

Orthotics made by Dr Porter were not effective. He took very little time and when orthotics were complete I was handed them to me with no instructions by receptionist. When I went for follow up Dr Porter was irritated that I questioned fit of orthotics. I then had to order custom made workboots . When I was fitted for these the sales person discovered my arch stretches when I walk which is the reason the orthotics were Ineffective. I would not recommend this Doctor for orthotics.
