I was a patient of Dr. Pickets for only a short time. I came to him in Sept. 2019 and he has since retired as of 31 March 2020. I can however without hesitation tell anyone ; that he was a wonderful doctor and cared deeply for his patients. I came to him in Afib. and we endured quite an adventure in resolving my issues. I was and am thankful for his work and efforts to correct and solve my issues. While I will miss him, I know he did well by me. May god bless you in your retirement and future endeavors . You retired while still healthy and able to enjoy your chorus and travel with your wife. You did not leave me stuck with with out a replacement to fill your shoes. You told me about your replacements and their differences . Now the choice is mine but, I can only hope that they can indead fill your shoes.

Dr. Pickett has been my cardiologist for several years. He is always very friendly and has a very goo beside manner. He listens to what I have to say and answers my questions in a manner that I understand. He will "tell you how it is", but in a manner that you can understand and not be too apprehensive about. In y opinion he is a very good doc. Would recommend him to anyone

I have used Dr. Pickett for many years and have always been satisfied with his work. I feel he is really the only doctor I have that I feel comfortable with in what he tells me. He makes me feel that he is concerned about my health and that is also comforting.

I have been a client of Dr Pickett for the past year, and being a Nurse, I see receiving patient care through a critical eye. His staff has been marvelous and I have not seen staff turnover. They have an impeccable working relationship and treat each other in a respectful, caring manner as they do their patients. I have never waited 10 minutes to be seen and with a rather complex diagnosis, every detail and option has been fully explained and all my questions answered. If I were still able to work, this would be a dram team to be a part of.

The first thing I notice in picking a physician is his office staff, Dr. Picketts are wonderful, second is their nursing staff, again his are kind and professional. I love Dr. Pickett, I like his genuine concern for my health, and I like that he sits and takes time to talk. He doesn't race in and hurriedly review your records and leave. He's pleasant and down to earth making it easy to go for cbeckups. Plus if I ever need him for anything serious I trust him!

Once you meet Dr. Pickett you will immediately know that you hit the jackpot. I live over an hour away, but this is the only cardiologist I will see. There are times when wait time is longer, but that is because Dr. Pickett is in surgery. I don't mind waiting for a Doctor to save someones life. Dr. Pickett will listen to all your questions and take his time to answer you in a way that you will understand.

I developed sudden severe pain in both of my upper arms; as a physician, I suspected it was due to angina. Since my wife is disabled, I drove myself to Conroe Medical Center where the ER was great, as usual. It was not long before Dr. Pickett was doing a heart catheterization and found that the main artery to my left ventricle was trying to clot off. He identified a severe narrowing and proceeded to place a stent to open up the artery. He not only saved my life but is very personable too!
