September 2019. My appt. began 1 hour and 40 minutes later than scheduled. HE DID NOT WASH HIS HANDS IN FRONT OF ME NOR DID HE WEAR GLOVES. NOR DID HE INTRODUCE HIMSELF. I HAD TO HAVE HIM TURN HIS NAME TAG AROUND SO THAT I COULD READ IT. I asked him to dismiss the med. student, that he brought into the room. He said that if I was upset then I could reschedule with my regular GYN doctor. The nurse was in the FAR end of the room. What could she see or hear? She did not protect me even though she had taken my blood pressure and it was unusually high, due to long wait. She and he could have been professional and advocated for higher standards of practice. I was so upset yet polite. Did not want to explode. And I did not. But should have demanded better care no matter how long I had waited and just wanted to complete the appointment!!!!

Saw Dr. Phillips for my 36 week prenatal appointment and would have been better off not going. He came into the room, told me we were checking the baby's heartbeat and to lay down. No more had I laid down til his cell phone rang. The volume was loud enough for me to hear the conversation and know it could have waited. He quickly puts the heartbeat monitor on my stomach, hands me a tissue and a paper to take up front then leaves, all while still on the phone (with his wife). I was told nothing.
