Do not recommend
Contradicting results. Took my nephew who has been diagnosed as level 2 autism nonverbal by the school the state and other specialists. This doctor is horrible and does not know anything about special needs children. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS DOCTOR!

Do not recommend
He is very rude and cruel. Please find someone else to treat your children specially if they have special needs. This doctor lacks of compassion.

Do not recommend this doctor. My daughter is doing so much better since she no longer sees Dr Phalen. We were forced to see him since we are a military family. Dr phalen refused to Medicate my daughter who has level 3 autism. Non verbal severe tantrums. Now my daughter is doing extremely well. My husband retired from the military. New developmental pediatrician who prescribed medication and my daughter is barely tantruming. Life is so much better now. Stay away from doctor phalen. He blamed me for my daughter's behavior...instead of helping her. It really was unfair what he did. Spent years driving her to therapy, taking her to her doctor appointments, etc and he said it was my fault the way she was behaving. Not true. She has autism and developmental disability and a rare chromosome deletion. I come back here 3 years later to warn you of doctor phalen. Go see a doctor that will help you.
